July 6, 2026 - Dusky-chested Flycatcher (Myiozetetes luteiventris) Found in two separate ranges in parts of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela, these tyrant flycatchers live at the borders of forests, in clearings, and around lakes and rivers. Foraging mostly in pairs and small groups, they feed on insects and fruit, capturing prey in short flights or plucking food items from surfaces while hovering or perched. Only one of their nests has been described, a bulky domed construction with a side entrance built from grasses in a large tree.

July 5, 2026 - Isabela Oriole (Oriolus isabellae) Found in northern Luzon in the Philippines, these orioles live in and around lowland rainforests. They eat fruit and insects, foraging alone, in pairs, or in small flocks, often with other species. Little is known about their breeding behavior but birds in breeding condition have been found in April and May, and fledglings were seen in June. They are classified as Critically Endangered by the IUCN because of rapid declines to their very small population primarily caused by habitat loss.

New Year, New Comic! I will be drawing every now and then short stories of Alrick, one of the Death-Heads, who fulfill peoples’ wishes for a price. While some cases of Death-Heads need permissions and legal reports, every single Death-Head assigns their own fees. It can be anything - nothing is illegal or too much.

But Alrick does things a bit differently, heading to get a cup of hot cocoa when the case is closed.
