just stumbled on your art and love it so much! your style in particular i find beautiful and entrancing, especially the use of shape and pattern to represent texture. im curious how you got to that style tbh? is there a name for it? did you have people who inspired you? i know very little about art but want to learn, so. curious what your journey was!

Thank you so much! I don't know if there's a name for it, in my head it's a combination of collage and drawing. I was struggling to adapt to drawing freehand on a tablet when I started digital art so I started using the lasso tool to block out the shapes I wanted and layering them on top of each other to make an image and from there it evolved into my art style. There's a lot of artists who inspired me but I found my art style really developed once I stopped trying to copy them and just focused on what feels natural to how I approach art :D
