*feral howling noises*
Found myself in hypomania and slipped into the Durgetash fans’ pit. The tyrant and the murderer are so thrilled to see each other again after their little separation, aww~
Oh gods, their tents in the Lower City camp are so close their belongings got mixed together. How am I supposed to stop squealing over this? I love bloodweave so damn much 😭❤️
Apologies, Larian, but I have no regrets 😆
And of course — who hasn't tried recreating their D&D character to play them in BG3? My little Nary ended up looking suspiciously like Astarion — like his little sister or something. Just look at this fangy little crew 😌🩸 Unfortunately, Nary didn’t work too well for a BG3 run — the dhampir race is added by mod, and sadly, the world just doesn’t react to her nature at all. So I took a couple of screenshots… and that save quietly faded into oblivion
While the spicy bloodweave art is cooking, I’d share an old sketch (no new stuff, I haven’t drawn in months, dammit!)
This is one of my D&D characters — her name is Nary Aerivale from Sschindylryn, a dhampir and hexblade warlock I played in a Curse of Strahd campaign. She was so much fun to play, mostly because I had to lie and twist the truth constantly just to keep all mine (oops — I mean her, of course 😇) dark little thoughts hidden 😈
Let’s chat ☺️ Do you remember your very first Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough? What stood out to you the most? (Skip this post if you haven’t played — spoiler warning!)
I started playing right at release, so I went in totally blind — no spoilers, no guides. In that first run, I ended up with romanced ascended Astarion who dumped me after I refused to become his spawn, and godhood Gale. I was shocked when I found out those are considered their “bad” endings — especially Astarion completely shutting down and refusing to even talk to my Tav anymore. That one broke my heart 💔
I just really wanted happiness for both of them and didn’t think through how chasing their dreams might corrupt them. Honestly, if I were in their shoes, I’d want what they wanted too 😅 That probably says something about me as a person, huh?
The rest of the companions were surprisingly easy to nudge toward the “good” path — especially Shadowheart and Lae'zel. Fanatical faith isn’t really my thing, so I did my best to pull them away from that.
Oh, and I turned Karlach into an illithid in that run 😵💫 So yeah. Very ambiguous. But honestly? Kinda fitting for me — I tend to play D&D with characters who walk the grey line too, never fully good or evil.
So… what if we turn up the heat a bit? 😏
If you don't mind, I've got some shitty sketches with them 👉👈 Just my headcanon for their Act 1 dynamics
No rest for the wicked, I see
Praise the photomode 😍
