Amalthea is a 15 year old pirate queen! Her armada is made of old sailboats, her ocean is a medium-sized lake, and her crewmates are all teens (or younger), but I assure you, the bloodshed is real. She values the little things in life, such as good food, riches beyond measure, and finding the guy who killed her parents when she was a baby (so she can rip him to shreds). She has a magic bracelet that turns people who wear it into sea slugs, so watch out competition!!!

Aurora goes crazy but there's this one moment with John Doe (another changeling) where Aurora has to hand him a gun and goes:

Aurora: I'm going to hand you something and you have to promise to give it back to me.

John: Cross my heart and hope to die!

Aurora: I hope you die.

Then drops into the lab and like instakills a guy. I think about this all the time.

Gambit (it/they/any) is a barbarian construct, built by another member of its party a little over two years ago. It grew a personality of its own, growing beyond machine limitations, and though its child-like naivety can sometimes lend it in trouble, it's also been a catalyst for building relationships with people, the machine somehow better at creating bonds than its organic father.

It's incredibly strong and protective of the people it's grown close to, but it's also very kind and compassionate, easily growing to care for the people it meets and learning a lot by their side… Good and bad things. Though it's learned about loving and caring for others, it's also learned about lying, deceiving, and death. Grappling with those things and trying to know how to implement them in its existence is a difficulty it didn't think it'd face.

Hey!! I'm a Cawfield fan blog, and I want to give some Constance propaganda--

Constance's whole thing is like: Imagine you're a hairdresser in the 50s, and you get married, and then one day your husband disappears for TWO WEEKS. Over the course of the next two years you realize he's not acting like himself and you fall out of love, get divorced. Later, you're out hunting monsters (which is apparently what you do now) and your ex-husband shows up, and through some wacky hijinks you learn that YOUR HUSBAND WAS KILLED and REPLACED by the changling you THOUGHT was your ex-husband. Also also, you get a gun and you live in the 50s and you're snarky.
