Of course Loki had to start complain mere minutes after they landed on Japanese soil. "I can always carry you, brother." He throws over his shoulder but continues to walk.

The only reason Thor even wanted to walk instead of dropping both at their inn was because he wanted to have a look around. See things they could come back to later and from air that was no good.
