✦ Shannon, you’ve been accepted to play the role of Tilden Toots. “Tilden’s radio show is composed of four other main employees that he brings up in his braodcasts. His producer is a wizard by the name of Rufus Kellett, a charismatic halfblood who was once a famous voice actor on several of WWN’s programs. Rufus and Tilden have always had a bit of a love/hate relationship, they both value what the other brings to the show, but they hardly ever agree on anything. Rufus has been staunchly against the new political turn the show has been starting to take, and Tilden has found he really doesn’t care. This has made for some rather entertaining exchanges on the air, and led some of the younger fans in the audience to start sending in lewd smut fiction and fan art involving the two wizards. One such cartoon drawing of the two men acting out a rather scandalous act on the sound board hangs over Tilden’s desk to this day. The three other employees compose of Bunny Folsham (the awkward and innocent middle aged witch that has to open previously mentioned fan mail), Richie Seymour (the former intern turned sound technician) and Kim So-Min (the assistant producer, who has to put up with all of this nonsense).” I love how thought out this is! You definitely took the skeleton and gave it your own twist and I love Tilden! So I can wait to see what happens with him in this universe! Amazing work!

PLOT POINTS OF THE WEEK

welcome to our little soiree:

After some preparation, the decorations were set, the menu was planned, and the date was set. Rodolphus Lestrange hosts a fancy dinner exclusively for the pureblood society to have some entertainment and also discuss their plan of action during these trying times. Despite some small issues here and there, the gathering goes extremely well and everyone gets to go home reassured that the Lestrange family will both protect the pureblood legacy and their identities of those who are involved in less than legal extracurricular activities (that part is, obviously, discussed by a selected group behind closed doors.) It has been a lovely evening, with delicious food, some catching up that had to be done, and filled with secrets and whispering walls - pretty much a classic pureblood banquet. 

(The Lestrange’s dinner party is celebrated on October 14th - roleplay date. Everyone with strong ties to the pureblood families can attend, mostly Death Eaters and Death Eaters supporters or part of the elite true neutrals. Players can choose to post starters happening before, during, or after the dinner party)

dumbledore did what?!:

The pureblood elite was distracted, and apparently the Order of the Phoenix didn’t waste any time. On October 15th, at around 5 am in the morning, Headmaster Albus Dumbledore called in an emergency meeting via Patronus Charm. All the members were surprised when they arrived to the secret location and found nothing less than Elphias Doge’s pensieve. Both Dumbledore and Alastor Moody managed to steal it from the Ministry’s special vault before any Death Eater could put their hands on it. The news haven’t exploded yet, but they will soon. The pensieve is going to be hidden and analysed by Dumbledore. Now all the Order members know about the note found at the office that revealed the existence of other spies. 

(If any Order member would like to be a part of the Pensieve heist, message the main so I can accommodate their role in it. As mentioned before, all the Order members now know about the existence of the note that was hidden by the Ministry. Players can post starters both before and after the Order meeting for this particular plot point. They can also choose to reveal these news to anyone including Order supporters or neutrals.)

OOC PLOT POINTS, PROVIDED BY THE PLAYERS

quidditch season: Quidditch teams have already resumed their training! Get those brooms ready because they coaches need to make up for the lost time.

an extensive research: Septima Vector is currently writing a book, and she needs what any researcher would call a golden commodity - information. She’s willing to meet up with some unconventional people to get it! Please contact Septima’s player if you want to come up with a plot using this information. 

we were on a break: Lily and James Potter have been apart since the tragic night of October 1981. However, many people have seen them being more than friendly towards each other in the middle of the Ministry Atrium. Are they back together? Are they not? They were in public, so ask them yourselves!

look what the cat dragged in: After many months of not showing his face, Peter Pettigrew has finally decided to go out for a change. He’s been seen in Diagon Alley, applying for random jobs. Maybe your character was there, maybe your character works at some of the shops he stopped by. Make sure to contact Peter’s player if you want to plot something using this information. 

thicker than water: Narcissa and Bellatrix, Bellatrix and Narcissa. The sisters have always been inseparable, especially after Andromeda left the family. The Blacks are known to be extremely reserved, however, they have been seen fighting in public. Yes, scandal! In the middle of Ministry premises too! Will your character take advantage of this slip up? It’s up to you to decide!

announcement n.014: update & acceptance date

How’s everyone today? Getting ready for Christmas? I personally can’t wait! And what better way to start the celebrations than by joining an amazing Marauders Era AU roleplay? There are still a bunch of characters available and highly wanted. Just give the CHARACTERS PAGE a look and let me know if someone catches your eye! But what’s that? You don’t really connect with any of those roles? Still, stay tuned! I’ve just sent activity warning messages to everyone who’s been inactive for five days or longer. So there might be some more openings soon. 

If you have received one of these messages and want to keep your character, just resume activity or contact the main within the following 24 hours! There will be a couple of interesting things happening in the course of these days. First of all, we’re changing weeks, and that means the plot points are going to be posted shortly. Believe me when I tell you, this week is going to get spicy. And even though Christmas is coming in real time, Halloween is actually getting closer and closer in RP time - and that always brings about some excitement for our dear characters!

By the end of the week I will most likely be posting the first official character prompt! So get ready for some serious character development over here! Do you like what you hear by any chance? Well let me tell you, joining is super easy! Just choose an available role, write your app and send it to me! I’ll be reviewing applications this Friday, December 23rd. The submit box will close at around 2PM, EST / 7PM, GMT and the results will be posted around 5PM, EST / 10PM, GMT if not sooner. As always, reservations are allowed but those for characters with apps already will be received until 10AM EST.
