He was pleasantly buzzed, at some stupid party that some random guy from their school was throwing. He probably should have been trying to get his rocks off with some chick, but he was too far gone for that now. 

Settled for dazing out to the sound of terrible music instead. The door opened and someone stumbled into the room, the lights were off, and it was too dark for Billy to know who it was… not that he cared. They made it the rest of the way in and flopped onto the couch, sighed dramatically.

Billy leaned forwards a bit, squinted in the darkness… “Harrington?” he slurred the name, okay maybe he was a bit drunker than he had originally thought… 

“Yeah yeah - not today, okay Hargrove?” Steve just said, sounding tired. Billy bristled a little at that, Harrington didn’t want to play? Then the fucker shouldn’t have wandered into Billy’s alcohol fogged sanctuary. 

“You came to me, pretty boy.” Billy said, throwing his boots up and bringing them down heavy on Steve’s lap. Steve just made this indignant sound, and Billy felt warm hands on his leg… not actually shoving him off, just resting there.
