While looking for something else about Jewish costuming (those of you following along at home will understand why), I discovered that Beit Hatfutsot at Tel Aviv University has been supplementing their exhibitions and education programs with recreated costumes from various historic Jewish communities. They say they have eighteen now, but I could only locate these eight in photos. Top to bottom, they are:

‘Al kaswa al kbira’, the great dress, Morocco (this is the traditional wedding and formal dress of the Moroccan Sephardi community.)
