Hello there and welcome to my Cookie Run Next Gen au account!

Right now it’s still very much in its infancy so if some things don’t make sense my dearest apologies.

1. Next Gen Designs!

This AU (which I am currently calling the ‘bakers dozen’ AU) diverges from cannon during chapter 12 of the Beast Yeast saga! In order to accompany the story I hope to tell I’ve also made some new designs for the cannon characters along with some tidbits of information so you can know how they’re doing.

2. The sorting tree!

I’ve decided that I’ll put the sorting tree just after this explanation, anyways the sorting tree is just a series of links to help find specific characters.

Story: Although the Brave Cookie recipe was created by complete accident the Bright Cookie recipe was an act of innovation! The Witch of Harmony wondered how a Brave Cookie could be kept stable long term and with a couple ratio tweaks created the Bright Cookie Line! It’s heavily encouraged to bake a Bright Cookie to go along with any baked Brave Cookies which is why the Shadow Witch Scrambled to make Gingerbright!

Gingerbright is an endless fountain of cheer! Never unable to find the good in the bad she can keep any cookie stable especially Gingerbrave who could fall into despair without the proper support. She has great ambitions for the world and believes that every cookie can, and deserves to be, happy. Still she can be a bit unsettling at times, when most flinch away from jam and crumbs she doesn’t seem to view them any differently from a random flower, perhaps the Shadow Witch got the ratios a bit wrong in her hurry.

Story: Gingerbrave is a very special cookie despite his ordinary appearance, Gingerbrave was originally made to be eaten but the Shadow Witch accidentally put magic powder into the dough causing Gingerbrave to come to life and escape the oven.

Despite the Gingerbrave we know and love being made by the Shadow Witch Gingerbrave is from a line of cookies called the “Brave Cookies” which were all made by the same mistake. The Witch of Happiness is the first witch on record to make this mistake however so she is known as the originator of the Brave Cookie Line.

Gingerbrave himself is very empathetic and charismatic making him a natural leader, the unfortunate circumstances of his baking however make him skeptical around witches, wizards and other such humans but he still trusts cookies immensely and will always do his best to keep the Cookie World safe!

Story:

Grilled Mozzarella Cookie is a hearse driver, he’s naturally awake at night and asleep during the day so he decided to become a hearse driver instead of becoming a bus driver which was his original ambition. He isn’t emotionally prepared for the job however and will often stop on his route in order to take a break for fresh air, he’s also prone to picking up lost cookies on the side of the road though he doesn’t tend to tell them that there’s a dead body in the trunk of his car.

Socially he’s relatively stagnant as most of his conversation comes from the radio, he doesn’t tend to talk to the hitchhikers he picks up unless they talk to him first. He’s empathetic but the constant reminders of death put a strain on him.

Physically he’s weak and doesn’t feel very safe outside of his car but his reaction time is very fast and is only further enhanced by his nerves. The choices he makes when panicked can be questionable but they are always fast.
