Cooper says thank you <3. He is feeling much better on his analgesics! We are still waiting on some tests, but a lot of the really scary stuff has been ruled out, thankfully!

Cookie’s a little stressed out today because her older brother Cooper has been having some pain issues and has been at the vet. We don’t know why just yet but he’s got his pain meds now and he’s still eating normally so we’re hoping it’s just regular old-kitty arthritis.

An update on Cooper: good news, he doesn’t have cancer! Also, he’s doing much better after an antibiotic course for an upper respiratory infection and getting twice-daily gabapentin for his pain. Bad news is he has some really unusual blood results and even the vet and an internal medicine specialist can’t figure out what the fuck is causing his pain. They’re running another test on his blood sample to try to figure it out. But thankfully the gabapentin seems to be working really well for him and he’s running around like normal again!
