I turned on Kiki's Delivery Service for a minute with the 90s dub (because nostalgia) and I cannot believe a dub produced by Disney has such abysmal recording quality?

Its crazy reading on production stuff on Song of the South, like it started out with good intentions and even hired a black writer and a jewish “very progressive” writer but turns out neither one wanted to work with the main writer who just happened to be a white southern guy who grew up with….a very different outlook.

which makes it extra funny that they HAD to make the pink elephant segment 5 minutes in a film that has a runtime of 64 minutes
