Gentleman? Sonic doesn’t think he knows any gentlemen, let alone would consider himself one. The idea is a novel one for him but he doesn’t comment, ears twitching as he followed the floating bat.

“That’s because you’re always busy with that GUN crowd of yours.” There’s an edge of dislike there, though it’s tamped down with a laugh shortly after. “I’m sure you’d have found me if you wanted to see me!”

Deformed? As far as things went that was awfully rude, but he’d let it slide on the basis that it was a kid and kids could be... well, interesting! What he meant by team though was somewhat beyond the anthropomorphic hedgehog-- maybe he was playing superheroes? Would make sense given his outfit.

“Fair enough.” Blaze shrug as he humours him. “What kind of superhero are you supposed to be?”

        The comment goes mostly ignored. “Are you going to tell me where we’re going now?” Because now he had been hauled along to do this little game, and he wasn’t going to let it go. Always serious, rarely conceding himself to indulge in simple things because that didn’t align with preconceptions he had about himself. At least he seemed to have gotten in the mood for a little friendly competition now! “That way!” He gestured in the vague direction they were heading, towards a small town that was on the horizon. Really with their respective speeds it was never going to take them all that long to get there, but as with most things in relation to Sonic it was about the journey and not so much the destination.

Listening to this guy talk for too long would probably give him a headache in all honesty. Sonic’s pretty sure half of those words actually existed, but he think he got the general idea of whatever it was this thing was saying. “Not.... really? And I’ll tell ya what, talking like that doesn’t make you sound more right! Just makes ya sound weird.” Which all things considered he was, so Sonic figured it fit.

“I mean I have no idea where we’re going...” Primarily because he’d never paid much interest or had the mind to see what the people surrounding him actually did. Less selfishness and more thoughtless-ness; it wasn’t done out of dislike at least. “Just don’t be slow!” Even if compared to him everyone was ‘slow’.
