I’ve got a couple Questions

Been wanting to use this pose reference for a while and I think it fits these two. Have been so obsessed I sped read 52 and a bunch of other comics and their dynamic is just so good and crazy to me. Absolute weirdo man and struggling lesbian that team up and somehow become such close and intimate friends like… idk man something about it.

Big fan of whenever there’s a situation presented where a man and a woman can be just friends and very close with each other without there having to be a threat of romance between them. That and like just the nature of them holding the same hero mantel like the fact the Question has two mantel holders, one a man and one a woman and they’re not related or romantically involved with each other. Just love to see it man idk.

Also about the art, they’re paint markers and I tried my best (as usual) but I haven’t done a ton of drawing lately really I’m v busy now I have a full time job.

And she deserves that title, too. She’s not just some love interest— she wasn’t even introduced as a love interest. She had her own career entirely separate from him, and she and Wally hated each other at first

Her own career, by the way, as a Korean woman in the 90s who faced discrimination and didn’t let it stop her from pursuing her career

She and Wally have one of the best annoyances-to friends-to lovers stories ever where he has to chase her down because he was an idiot and almost let her leave

And they proceed to have one of the most devoted, loving relationships ever (she’s his lighting rod!!!)

But she doesn’t lose her character! She’s still her own woman and she WILL tell Wally what’s what!

She’s even a badass in other universes, too

She’s so headstrong and intelligent and powerful and she’s just a remarkable woman and I love her!! Linda Park, y’all!!!!!
