i live to see the night and i wait for it with anticipation.
i don’t go out at night because i dont drink, no instead i wait for the sun to finally say goodbye so i may slip into the alternate universe that i create in my very own bedroom. the lights glow a deep inviting hue and fragrant oils drip and bubble and loft around the air clinging to the insides of your nose.
i inhale the medicine that the earth has provided, it burns my throat and warms my lungs. my eyes are heavy and my body floats. its a deep relaxing inhale and exhale (aaaaauhhhh). inhale love, exhale love.
i disrobe with my outer shell casually yet dramatically fall to the floor in a puddle around me. my skin glows and the peppermint light kisses my breasts. i slip into my cocoon and say goodnight. the voices serenade me to sleep. they remind me all is me, and i am all. infinite cycles look over our earth and say “it is as simple as catching and letting go.”
