You don’t see this in fanfictions, but I’d love to see a fic where Jason resurrects, but years later. Maybe even late enough that now he’s younger than Tim. You already see him being insecure about not knowing his age, but imagine the angst when he’s so much younger than he should be.

I mean, Bruce was in his mid 30’s when he adopted Jason. Say he resurrects when Bruce is in his 40’s. In that time Bruce would start showing more visible signs of aging, grey hairs and wrinkles starting to form. The others joining the family, and those who he is supposed to be years older than, now he’s younger than them.

Maybe he never got picked up by the LoA, so he’s still as small as he was when he died.

There would be no sane way to resurrect Jason legally. He’d been dead 5 years, he should be 20. Instead he’s 15 and stuck in the same body he died in.

But what if he’d been dead longer? What if he came back and Alfred had already died? What if he came back and Bruce was 50? What if he came back younger than Damian?

Anyway. I love the angst of Jason not knowing his age. But something I never see is Jason reviving so much later that the world he died in is not the one he lived in.

He came back to a world where his family now knew how to live with his death. Made peace with it. Learned to live around it. And now he’s back and has a whole new family. His dad is no longer the same.

His first memory after crawling out of his grave is of a world that has left him behind. And why wouldn’t it. He was dead.

This is a question for the fanon Tim Drake fans. Specifically, the ones who have his nickname be 'timbit'. I need to know how it became a thing. Or, at least, if people are using it in the way I think they are using it. Timbit. As in, the little donut holes from Tim Hortons. Those timbits. You're using it in reference to that, right? Cuz that's what I always presumed, but then I started thinking about it, and, are timbits well known in the US? Cause, like, Tim Hortons isn't a ubiquitous thing there. One thing I love to see in Jason-centric comics is when a villain or a hero call him out for pretending to be more evil than he actually is. Doubly so if they bring it up because they're concerned that he's just going to cause himself more pain and heartbreak down the line.
