Why memorize the Quran? An infinite number of reasons. I’ll give you two.

The more you memorize, the more your confidence and self esteem as a person soars. One day your skin won’t have the same glow that it used to, you won’t be as quick thinking/clever as you used to be, you’ll lose that job that gave you so much. When the things of this world that gave you so much “confidence” fade, your self esteem will still be as strong as ever. Because the surahs that you’ve memorized from the Quran remain in your heart, in your mind and on your tongue and you feel strong, whole and fulfilled.

One day that person who always felt so much like home may pass away before you do. If that happens, you’ll find that you’re not alone. You’ll take your grief to your best friend and real home - the Quran.
