FOR COCO AND I, WE HAD AN INTERNAL WEDDING CEREMONY. THIS IS NOT FEASIBLE FOR EVERYONE, THOUGH, ESPECIALLY IF YOU CANNOT ACCESS YOUR INNERWORLD FOR WHATEVER REASON. WE ALSO CONSIDERED OTHER AVENUES TO HAVE AN "EXTERNAL" WEDDING, SUCH AS USING OUR PRIVATE SYSTEM DISCORD SERVER (WHICH WE USE TO CHAT AMONGST OURSELVES) FOR THE CEREMONY. OR, ANOTHER ALTER IN OUR SYSTEM CONSIDERED SETTING SOMETHING UP IN MINECRAFT FOR HER AND HER PARTNER TO HAVE AN EXTERNAL CEREMONY.
IT'S REALLY UP TO WHAT YOU WOULD PREFER AND WHAT WORKS. WE SETTLED FOR AN INTERNAL WEDDING INITIALLY FOR MANY REASONS- NAMELY TO SAVE THE HEADACHE OF COCO AND I + THE FRIENDS ATTENDING OUR WEDDING, ALL TRYING TO CO-FRONT AT ONCE. HOWEVER, WE ARE PLANNING TO RE-EXCHANGE OUR VOWS PRIVATELY IN OUR SERVER, JUST BETWEEN THE TWO OF US. TO FULLY SOLIDIFY THINGS, IF THAT MAKES SENSE.

im having a lot of trouble forming my thoughts but yeas!!!! being in the same system definitely makes it a bit tricky, but there are options. we wanted a ceremony that looked like a "traditional" external wedding ceremony, i.e friends n family attending, decorated venue, music and dancing, etc, so thats why we had one internally (+ the reasons sol stated above).... but a wedding ceremony can be whatever you and your partner want, i think. a ceremony also isnt required.
it was honestlyyyy a lotttaaa talking leading up to the wedding, esp bc me and solly arent in a romantic relationship- we're best friends (we dont label our type of relationship) and wanted to show our commitment & spend our life together! so it was a lot of talking and working out what marriage would look like to us, what we wanted from our wedding, how we wanted life to look afterwards, we talk about our boundaries regarding affection already, but that one came up too bc yk. at weddings you typically "kiss the bride" and neither of us liked the idea of that (btw, if ur curious, we did the thing cats do where they rub noses instead of a kiss)... lotta talking!
we also bought a set of rings irl so we can wear them when we front! that isnt required, obviously lol, but we wanted something to show we were together externally, even if to a stranger we're just a guy wearing rings.
