Axe Young and Matture AD - Helmo estudio, “Bêtes de mode”
Axe Young and Matture AD by Ponce, Argentina (2013)
“ Unilever and Lowe and Partners’ agency Ponce Buenos Aires produced this work, using state of the art stereoscopic technology, for Unilever men’s toiletries mega brand, Axe. “Young & Mature” is the latest in the phenomenally successful Axe limited edition ranges and the concept was co-created by Ponce and the Client. The insight came from idea that Axe, with a long-standing expertise in the field of seduction, was ready to offer young men a more specific seduction tool. A two product range was brought to life - inspired by a recurring topic of conversation among young men today… “young women” vs. “mature women”. In the integrated campaign featuring digital, TVC’s, Print, OOH and radio, Axe asks its fans, “What age do you fancy today?” The Ponce Buenos Aires team used 3D stereoscopic cinema technology to create two simultaneous stories where the audience may choose to see one or the other just by closing one eye. The Axe Effect.

“Bêtes de mode” (Fashion Animals) by HELMO, france. (2006)
“Set of pictures and pattern design supporting the commercial event Bêtes de mode at Galeries Lafayette, Paris. Light and color display of the pictures in the windows and the dome of the store. In collaboration with Thomas Dimetto “
http://www.helmo.fr/betes-de-mode/
For this series titled “Bêtes de mode” (Fashion Animals) by HELMO, blue portraits and red animal portraits are superimposed then and displayed in the windows of the Lafayette Galleries on Hausmann Boulevard. A system of colored gels colored blue and red on the panes makes it possible to see the portrait mode sometimes, and sometimes the animal portrait. For this installation, the optical system of the gelatines of color was replaced by projection lights, – red and blue. The images are fairly large in scale (5×8 meters).
