Last weekend I got second place in a very small cosplay contest! I totally neglected to take any photos, but I thought it would be nice to share some pics I took of my costume at the last con I went to. This is my Dungeons and Dragons character, Vitriol, a tiefling necromancer (with a love for druidry).

I bought a miniature mirror and thought I would spoosh it up a little! Added fake half-pearls, white Posca markings, and the pendant off a brooch.

This is a butterfly house I painted for a friend of mine. I bought a raw wooden butterfly house at a craft store and redid it myself, including adding the latch and hinges.

Here are the completed painted tigers I did for my DnD group! I think they turned out pretty well!

I'm making some flying tigers for some friends of mine - a little inside joke from one of our D&D sessions. I've never sculpted before, but it was a lot of fun! And a lot of trial and error. Here are the wings before and after baking, and on two of the tigers! I still have a lot of painting to do.

These are some coasters I painted as a Christmas gift! They were just simple corkboard coasters I picked up, which I painted with acrylics and sealed with Dishwasher-safe Mod Podge.

For Christmas, I decided to make each of my DnD party a personalized glass! I had never painted glasses before, and it was a lot of fun. From top left to bottom right, the glasses are for an: astral elf barbarian-artificer, sea elf druid, siren rogue, and the DM (for our pirate-themed campaign).

For Halloween, me and my party did a special D&D adventure. I decided to do a semi-abstract sketch of the events. I really enjoy working with pen and black watercolor. Tried to replicate some of the stye of Stephen Gammell, one of my favorite artists.

I decided to draw my character, Vitriol, with his family! Clockwise from the upper left, they are: Coriander "Corey" (older brother), Peppermint (mother), Remedy (father), Vitriol "Vit" (OC), Anathema "Ana" (younger sister), Malign "Mal" (older sister).

In my D&D spell book, this is the page with my familiar's stats. I had great fun sketching him out, love the white pencil on the brown paper.

Every year, me and my sister make Halloween costumes for our figurines. Here are some highlights from throughout the years. They are, in order: Mummy, Possessed, Moth, Circus, Eldritch Horror, Father Sun, Mother Earth, Butterfly.

Another page from my spell book. This is one of my character's Necromantic features. Really loved working with the white gel pen on black paper.

This is the staff I've created for my D&D cosplay. I added the white because, as an ice-based tiefling, I imagine the magic of the staff would draw ice from his hand where he touches it.

I've never really done cosplay before. But my D&D group wanted to do costumes of their characters, so I decided to join in! Here's my character's hat, which I'm rather proud of.
