Weekly Writing Update #212 (July 26th, 2026)

Hullo. Late update because of AEW Redemption, but that's ok. It's been a pretty decent week, I'm doing alright with writing. Keeping up with the daily writing challenges, so hopefully once this ends on Friday, I can continue writing as much with other projects. I have a lot to catch up on. But since it's so late, I'm not going to waste a lot of time on all of this. It's going to be a busy week and hopefully I can get a lot of stuff done despite that. See y'all next Sunday.

I'm a night owl, so I take an hour or two late at night when everyone else is asleep or less likely to need something. It takes time to make a schedule you can stick to, just need to keep trying different things until you find something that works.

Weekly Writing Update #211 (July 19th, 2026)

Hahhahah I just spent the last hour trying to figure out the math on this list. My word counts were not adding up against a graph that I have a writing challenge calculated on elsewhere. Damn, that was a pain. I hate math enough as it is, then something like this happens where there's a discrepancy between my two word counts and I feel like I'm about to lose my mind. Oh well! I figured it out in the end. Beyond that, it's been a pretty good week. Making steady progress in my bedroom redecorating goals, and my writing is moving along steadily, and I've gotten a decent amount of stuff done today (even when I had to sit for an hour and try to figure this math nonsense out lol) so I'm pretty happy. Hopefully the week ahead allows for more accomplishments! Anyway, now that this is done, I'm going to go post it everywhere, go eat, and then start writing stuff tonight. Hopefully I'll have the NYE 2024 fic up in a week or so. It's very close to being done, then I can move on to the next project. AND Orange and Hook keep doing things that keep my fic series ideas alive, even though I'm still a year behind in actually writing it so that's nice! Well, gonna go now, see y'all next week.

I don't have a lot to say right now, and I'm pretty busy with a lot left to do before bed, so just gonna say really quickly that everything's going pretty well, I'm keeping up with the month's writing challenges, so yay, and there's a lot of busy stuff happening over here! Weekly Writing Update #208 (June 29th, 2026)

Hullo. it has been a VERY BUSY week, lol. There was the Infinite Rumble on Monday into Tuesday, I had a family obligation on Wednesday, then I went to the movies Thursday, there were three wrestling shows yesterday (Two Hook matches in three hours ?!?!), AND Forbidden Door tonight. It was a lot. So I didn't get a lot of writing done this past week, gah, hahaha. BUT there are three writing challenges I'm involved in for July so I'm hoping that I will have more time and more motivation for all of that, we'll see. Feel free to hang around and point and laugh at me every Sunday I post a lackluster update. Anything's possible! I hope not, but who knows, haha. Anyway it's late and I'm getting sleepy so I'm gonna post this now. See y'all next week.

Weekly Writing Update #207 (June 22nd, 2026)

Hullo. This has been another one of those weeks where I didn't get quite everything I wanted done, but am making some progress so I can't really complain, you know? Things could definitely be worse. Hullo. It's been a weird week, with a lot of tornadic storms in my area, and a lot of family drama stuff to contend with. But I've survived it and my word count isn't too horrible, I guess, so I'll take it. Here's hoping for a quieter week ahead that I can get a lot done during. Well, another week gone. I've made some progress in a lot of different things. I didn't feel the best this past week, so I didn't get as much done as I'd like, but I did pretty ok with writing despite how crummy I felt for a few days, haha. I think this next week will be even more successful though. I'm thinking a bit about craft things to sell through my ko-fi. I need to finalize a few things, but it's promising! Well, between Memorial Day and AEW and WWE both having shows this weekend, I didn't get a lot of writing done this past week, but the progress on NYE 2024 continues and it's close to 10K words long now, so that's something. I think the week ahead will be better for writing time, I hope anyway! I'm not gonna have a long update, it just is what it is, the idea train keeps rolling on. Hopefully I'll have time to implement those ideas into actual stories before TOO long, haha. I'll see y'all next weekend with more.

Weekly Writing Update #202 (May 18th, 2026)

Quick update. Been a busy, long week but look at me, slow, steady progress. Kind of. Last time I tried to upload a fic onto FFN, it wouldn't let me so I don't know what's going on there, but eh. Felt strange to only upload to AO3. I guess I should try that again. Anyway, we're making consistent progress on the NY 2024 fic, I'm hoping it'll be done and up soon! Also, I'm almost done with the cleaning/bedroom furniture refresh project I've been working on for ages, so hopefully that'll give me more time for writing and other such things soon. Anyway, I have other things to go do really quickly so I'll be back next week with another update. See y'all then (and hopefully HOOK will be done filming and back on AEW this coming week…!)

Weekly Writing Update #201 (May 11th, 2026)

WELL. Hullo. This week has been pretty decent writing wise. I had the impulse to write a fic for the boys' birthdays Monday, then the internet was down for a couple of hours Thursday night, so I had a couple of hours to sit around while I waited for it to be fixed, which gave me more time to write. All in all, I'm pretty pleased with my word count for the week. Hopefully it can continue. I'm continuing to make slow progress on NYE 2024, and hopefully it'll be done and posted in the next few weeks. Everything else, well, I'm slowly moving on it. We'll see! I hope to have everything caught up soon. Right now though, it's late, and I want to relax and watch some silly videos before bed so I'm gonna just post this now. See y'all next Sunday.

Weekly Writing Update #200 (May 4th, 2026)

Hullo. Well, this is my 200th update and I wanted it to be special but it's been another week of not great word counts. I'm now on the other side of my Collision event, so I think I'll have more time now for both writing and finishing all of the plans I have for my bedroom. Hopefully, anyway. I posted about Collision on my twitter and tumblr ayumidah accounts, so feel free to take a look at that. Getting to see Hook and Orange on the same night when both were not booked or injured for my last two events was pretty nice! Weekly Writing Update #199 (April 27th, 2026)

Another late WWU update, haha. So it's going to be short, but yeah, it was Mystery Wrestling today and other stuff was going on so I'm just now getting things wrapped up. The week ahead's going to be busy so I won't have a lot of time because I'm going to be getting ready for AEW Collision in Peoria Saturday, but I'll see how much writing I can get done. This week was a smidge better than last week, so that's something, I suppose. Haha. Maybe once AEW comes and goes, I'll be able to write more in May but I feel like I say this every week. Weekly Writing Update #197 (April 13th, 2026)

So, it's another week with a fairly poor update. I'm trying not to feel bad about it, but we're in a weird period of time where I have a lot of ideas, but little time, energy and motivation to write stuff. I'm making very slow progress on a few things, but not as much as I'd like. I'm trying. All I can ask is that people be patient, and hopefully things will be better after Wrestlemania, oooooor maybe after my Collision event in May when I'm less busy for awhile. Also I'm in the process of redoing a lot of things in my bedroom, which takes even more time and energy, so. Ugh. We'll see, ha. I hopefully will have a better update next week but it is Mania week so doubtful. See ya then.
