Field trips weren't usually Jaxon's thing, but he did appreciate it when a little effort paid off. Holding the fresh paperwork that secured a new line of mead for the pub, he was heading back to his car when he decided to take a detour through Vievecor city park. The open space, the fresh air...they both felt like a well-deserved breather after dealing with the red tape, and he was going to enjoy it alright.
The wolf had stepped in through the northern gate, keeping distracted for the most part. Maybe if he made it in time for lunch, he told himself, he could actually squeeze in a little nap before getting back to work... hang out with Max or Will after. And how fitting then, that one of them was calling him right in that moment? Wedging the phone between his ear and shoulder while trying to keep the supplier documents tucked safely under his arm was difficult, and by all means distracting.
Jax could barely get a word in, let alone get far, before completely missing the person right in front of him. The knock made him lose his balance but luckily, a hand seemed to stretch toward him and he took it without thinking.
Of course the file popped open, scattering the documents and his pen all over the cobblestones around his feet. "…I'm sorry," Jax muttered, crouching down to grab the stray papers. "I wasn't paying attention." Was he also walking too fast? Probably. Looking up, finally, Reed could barely hide the look of suprise on his face. Whoever this woman was, she was glowing unlike any other deity he'd ever seen. "Wow." he blinked, "I mean..Hi."
Corona did not think she would ever tire of the looks mortals gave her when they witnessed her in her divine glory and she chuckled lightly at the man's reaction. It was a most appropriate reaction and despite wearing a pencil skirt that hugged the curves of her body, the deity gracefully descended into a crouch, her high heels aiding in accentuating the elegant of the lines of her body.
"Hello to you as well," she said with a wink and reached for the piece of paper that was closest to her. Corona was clearly not going to do much of picking up what fell around them. "I feel like I was the one who interrupted you..." And with a crook of her finger, the fallen pen leapt into her hand. "That was going to be a work call, wasn't it?" That was hardly a guess when the deity had already picked what information she needed from the man's mind.
