And What It All Comes Down To

As much as I hate to start this off with "and what it all comes down to" but no, seriously... for as long as I can remember, I've been on a journey of self discovery, and healing (this does not include villainizing or blaming others) but for some reason, this period almost feels repetitive. At this point though, I just keep telling myself it's just part of the motions and what I need to do for me. It is selfish, and for once I'm okay with that because after so many years, I'm way too invested. I ache for several reasons that I can't put into words yet, but it's humbling.
