Hi. I was told that I could get social media to connect with people. My grandma suggested it so I don't get too lonely. I'm a bit nervous since this is all so new to me, but I would like to learn new things.

✨Hi!! This is an askblog based on my AU from my fanfic "Meet Me At Grandma's House." Shadow lives with an old lady named Gracie who takes care of him! Everyone is welcome to interact, even if you haven't read the fic! Shadow will fill you in :) Gracie might even answer questions sometimes! I answer with drawings most times and am updating my old ones currently.

What are the best cookies?

I like simple chocolate chip cookies. I've used the same recipe for decades. Shadow can clear an entire batch by himself so I'd say they are pretty good.

Favorite constellation?

My favorite is Ursa Minor. The little dipper.

Ursa Minor and Major were me and Maria's matching constellations. Its comforting that they are both still out there to see.

Hi Shadow!! Long time no see! I've traveled all over the country and now i'm very sick. Do you ever get sick? Do you have a favorite comfort activity when you don't feel well?

Hmmm... I've only been sick one time. That was when I was recovering from living outside and getting drenched by cold rain multiple times. Grandma took care of me.

My comfort activity.... watching game shows with Grandma helped me get through my illness last time. It took my mind of the gross feeling.

I hope you feel well again soon.

Do you like listening to music?? What’s your favorite kind to listen to??

Recently I've been listening to a band called Owl City. I really enjoy the stories inside the songs and how happy they make me feel. My favorite right now is Shooting Star. Its a little...cheesy but it talks about being yourself and shining your own light even when the world feels against you.

The stars on my ceiling are very comforting to see when I'm trying to relax for bed. I've been sleeping a little better lately so sometimes I don't get a chance to look at them long enough before I doze off.

Oh hello. I've been okay.

I'm not really sure on the meaning of Valentine's day, but I know there will be candy. Grandma said she would make us a special dinner because "everyone deserves to feel loved on Valentine's Day"

So it must be about candy and love then.

Do you watch any kid shows??

Yes actually. It may be childish but... Grandma says its okay because I never got to be a normal child.

I like Avatar the Last Airbender a lot. I can relate to a few of the characters and their powers are cool. Makes me feel more comfortable about being so different.

Who eats coffee beans? That's gross. I learned through being too curious...

My favorite food is macaroni and cheese. I like the kind from the blue box but Grandma's homemade one is better. I also like her meatloaf. It reminds me of my first night here.

*hands you a plate with IKEA meatballs and potatoes and sauce and jam* im not sure if you've ever seen an IKEA but they have a restaurant inside the store. And lots of shadow-sized furniture that you can climb on! You might have fun if you go there with grandma

Ive never heard of IKEA but this is really good. I'll ask if we have a store near us. I'd like to see some small furniture. I can't reach the ground with my feet when I sit on the couch.

Shadow have you heard of the national parks?

You may really like them, or if you can't go there, you can probably find some good documentaries and videos of scenery. Grandma can show you how to put that on the TV

I've heard about them from TV. I think it was the national geographic channel?

I don't remember where the park was but it looked like a nice place to run around or just get some quiet time alone. A lot of tall pine trees and mountains.

Shadow how do you feel about driving with grandma instead of running to Montana?

Any sights you want to see along the way?

Oh no we wont be driving. Or running.

I'm not sure how long it takes to get to Montana by car but I do know I wouldn't want to be trapped inside a car for that long. I'd be worried about Grandma too. I don't know if she would be too tired.

As for sights...I don't know anything about the land. Or what is considered exciting to humans.

Tails gave us some portal rings to use and we will travel that way. Grandma is pretty excited to do that.
