Iâm sorry youâre falling in love with me again He whispered into the back of my neck. I canât help myself: The emotion is insurmountable ; A ghost that ceaselessly haunts me ; A recurring nightmare That visits me every time I close my weary eyes. Iâm sorry I canât stop loving you No matter how hard I try To will myself to hate you. The efforts are fruitless & barren Much like you & I ; You & I : What a strange combination Of space-seeking souls Searching for validation Through flesh & bones. Merely mortal attraction; Fatal lust.
This is another wonderful poem that a lovely friend of mine wrote about me.

Flashback One year ago Primary colored string lights Incense, barely lit, sad Excuse for a bedroom. One couch, extremely worn From the unclothed escapades Of past & present lovers. To be bent over that exact couch One year ago, To long for the same flesh & blood That a year ago had disappointed. He told me I was giving him the eye; He told me great philosophical views Of the way the world works & of forces of nature & the Intricate configuration of the self & society. What lustful, lustful eyes I still have for him & everything that he ever was to me. On that couch, unspeakable atrocities Pervaded my focused mind. They Ate at me until I finally vocalized â kiss me â & then it happened. I pulled away, tears in my eyes, But not begging for him to stop. What a conundrum I am for him. In his arms, he told me he was sorry That we never worked out. He told me he wished he was better to me. I silently agreed with heavy heart. Frustration most inevitable: One last kiss for the road.
Cremate the Sky
Cremate the sky That her ashes may rain down, and recolor our vision black and white. Mute my ears To assure the screaming stars utter not a sound It is a dream I cannot deny as we relish in this sight; Cascading remnants of a golden horizon, as they descend gently to the ground. Silence. Beauty. A most magnificent chromatic movie. Behold as the ashes blacken, glistening before our very eyes. And all fades to oblivion in this elegant demise. No sight is without pale when compared to The cremation of the sky. -Alden Stowe
I love you â¤ď¸
I love you too bb <3 Thank you so much youâre the sweetest
(Unread: 1)
Oh what a thing it is to love, and another to love without requite. Still to this day do I recall that one, fateful late summer night. The last I had to hold you, to call you my very own. But because that night has passed I shall henceforth remain alone. Alas, there is no love at the end of my story, my suspicions proven true, For I can never love another... Not after loving you.

All To Dust
Time is far kinder to the Earth, who knows not her own age, We, men, we scurry about our lives, Feeling the unrelenting press of our own mortality, time ever waning. But she, she is resolute, needing prove no significance to herself, Unaware of the infinite stream.. surrounded by the nothingness she shall one day become. Unflinching, aloof. And we! Such foolish men we are, Trot about her and hold ourselves as gods, while so short is the gap between life, death and rebirth, We are present for but a blink of the universeâs eye, Ah, we! Men! So brief are we, and so brief shall be, Within that endless reach of time.. Of the same matter composed, But cursed to know ourselves. And thus we flail about to leave desperate marks upon our world, Unaware that she too will decay, that she and we shall return to dust. All to dust. All to nothing. All to dust. Returning to that womb by which all was conceived, and from that womb to be conceived a-gain! Ah, yes even is matter mortal, for atoms decay. All will fade, all created again, a phoenix in a flame. Terra; the Earth and her brothers and sisters who know not of us, Nor the names to them assigned, When gone we will be unknown to them still. But we stand proud at this moment, a race still adolescent Foolish, but beautiful in our efforts, beneath the eye of the universe, Which will always remain too grand to be by us perceived. We seek purpose in our lives, but have none to inherit. And thus are free to create our own, to stand in the ceaseless river of time. To stare back at the universe and her many children in the sky, There is beauty in our brevity, and wonder in her longevity, But she too will one day die. Even eternity itself is not eternal. All to dust. All to nothing. All to dust.

Broken Hourglass (2015 Edit)
The sands have fallen from their place. When they ran so freely through my fingers, The time seemed only to pass while they fell before my gaze. Radiantly in the sun they shimmered, so luminous I recall. The world about me was brilliant, My life was sound. And now I ponder aloud "Is it over now? Has my time finally run out?" Resting in a hill ashen. Twas a sentence so brief; I was scalded by passion. What a fool was I, To think my fate different this time! With such Clockwork cycles; predictable sentiments. What a fool was I. My hands were never by the sands abrased, but my soul suffers in their absence. And oh! The Silence! It screams at me. So deafening it cripples, a voice that stings; a dagger's thrust. But worse is the poison that makes the heart fast, born from toxin of lust. The sun retires, my time is passed. And such a fool I was.

Marionette
Clear to me are the strings of fate and I am henceforth by them entwined, Dancing ever disdainfully to their cosmic tune. Every fruitless struggle to escape does remind This hopeless, foolish man that every bane, and every boon Is by resolute and omnipotent hands defined.
The One Thorn I Know
If you would only take my word When I say unto you âI am not a man of violent desire.â Then I shall confide in you my thoughts: I bear hatred for but one repulsive liar. Too often with this man do I meet eyes His soulless, empty gaze compels my innards to churn And he is wont to lament to me, unrepentantly How quickly by my hands his interests are spurned. No others see his folly, his evil is thus only to me known. I would combat him if only I could. Though I fear of us two, he is the more ruthless as he stares at me from glass affixed to wood.
