LOS ANGELES, CA --- Cosmopaulitan Entertainment’s inaugural series Misguided is set to return for its third season on May 27, 2019 with new sets, new characters, a new romance and even more drama! Joining the already packed cast of Daytime stars, are Justin Klosky (ex-Joey, GL) and a surprise guest cameo from a Daytime Emmy Award winning Guiding Light actress!
“All I ever wanted was to be a part of Guiding Light,” says creator Paul Gosselin. “The actors I watched everyday were all so talented and I couldn’t wait to join them on screen someday. With the cancelation of Guiding Light, announced 10 years ago today, I thought the dream of acting alongside these performers was over forever. Now with Misguided I’m not only acting alongside some of the greats from Daytime, but directing them and hearing them speak the words I wrote. It has been a thrilling experience to say the least.”
When CBS announced the cancellation of Guiding Light on April 1 (April Fool’s Day) fans thought it was a horrible joke. Well the ‘joke’s over,’ and it’s time to #ReigniteTheLight.
This season, Paul finds himself suffering from amnesia and thus needs to reignite the light within him. Thankfully he has his therapist Tamara, played by Jean Carol (ex-Nadine, GL) and a new love interest, Doyle, played by Justin to help him figure out his new life. Unfortunately, this new life might not include his best friend played by Stephanie Gatschet (ex-Tammy, GL) or his soap opera loving mother, Mo, played by Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie, GH). Will Paul regain his memories and continue his quest to bring back Guiding Light or is this light’s out... forever?

Guiding Light Alum, Justin Klosky, Joins the Online Series Misguided
Justin Klosky (ex-Joey Lupo, Guiding Light) has signed on for Season Three of Misguided. “I’m very much looking forward to taking part in Misguided and reunite with old friends to stir up some drama,” the actor shares. Justin will reunite with fellow Guiding Light actress Stephanie Gatschet. Misguided follows Paul, an aspiring soap opera actor, who is attempting to “reignite the light” after his favorite daytime drama, Guiding Light, gets canceled. Along his journey, Paul soon realizes his life is more of a soap opera than he ever thought. Seasons 1 and 2 are available on YouTube and production for Season 3 will begin later this fall with a release set for 2019. Returning for Season 3 and joining Justin and Stephanie in the series are Jacklyn Zeman of General Hospital fame who plays “Mo,” Paul’s mother, and Ivet Corvea who plays the flirtatious casting director, “Breeze.” Season 3 of Misguided is currently crowdfunding on the Seed&Spark platform and runs through September 20. COSMOPAULITAN ENTERTAINMENT’S series MISGUIDED to be rebooted & rebranded as a “Quirky Digital Daytime Drama,” with Jacklyn Zeman, Stephanie Gatschet & Ivet Corvea Returning. Plus Crowdfunding Commences for a Third Installment
LOS ANGELES, CA --- Cosmopaulitan Entertainment’s inaugural series MISGUIDED is setting the stage to return and plans on making some changes. It is all about a “reboot and rebrand” as the character of Jeva Jones (played by Guiding Light a ctress Jean Carol) says in Episode 6 of the series. Of course she’s referring to the now defunct CBS Daytime drama, Guiding Light, but it is precisely the course of action producers of MISGUIDED plan to take going into Season 3.
MISGUIDED is a series that follows Paul, daytime TV’s biggest fan, on his quest to become its newest star. Following the cancelation of his favorite soap opera Guiding Light, Paul moves from New York City to Los Angeles in the hopes of landing a leading role on one of the remaining daytime dramas. Episodes include vlogs of Paul at the Susan Lucci star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as he seeks spiritual guidance from the ultimate daytime diva herself, “Big Sue.”
“After being disqualified from the 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards for being too much in the comedy genre, I knew I had to make some changes to the series,” says Paul Gosselin, creator and star of MISGUIDED. “I was creating a soap opera within a soap opera, but it seemed to have more humor than drama and the Awards Committee determined we were ineligible. So, I’ve upped the drama going forward and look forward to submitting once again.”
The series debuted in 2015 and after a successful Kickstarter campaign the second season was released in 2017. Now planning for a third season, the series will be raising funds on Seed & Spark, a fundraising web platform designed to specifically help indie filmmakers. The project’s goal is to raise $8,000 over the course of 45 days. Once funds have been raised, production for the third installment of the series will begin. Cast members already signed on for the next season include Stephanie Gatschet, Ivet Corvea and Jacklyn Zeman. Last season Ms. Zeman earned a nomination for her role as ‘Mo’ at the 9th Annual Indie Series Awards. Once again, Robin Roemer will return as director of photography and will lead an entirely female crew.
