A 30 year old feels like they started their life ten years too late. But their grief is the natural byproduct of growth.Â
You only feel you âlostâ something because you keep inventing what you could have done or had. Youâre in a time of your life without the darkness of your past and youâre choosing to bring it with you by theorizing the loss of something you never actually had.
Getting myself together
If you want to be ATTRACTIVE you can be.
-Get up early. Set your alarm and stretch first thing. Then go make some tea.
-Get dressed, do light makeup & go for a walk (Always look your best even if itâs light makeup & your hair is in a ponytail).
-Work out. Even though you donât want to! Do you think anybody wants to at first? No. How do they get results? Discipline.
-Check off a calendar to feel accomplished after u do these things every day (with a rest day in between. Even then, stay active just go easierâwalk).
-Do a face mask 2X a week at the end of the day. Put teabags on eyes to reduce puffiness. Moisturize and use gua sha roller to massage face.
-Sleep to binaural beats music for deep sleep
If you want to be SMART you can be.
-Read portions of a book mindfully and try to retain that information.
-Try to finish 1 book every 2 weeks. The library is your friend.
-Do a crossword in the local newspaper
If you want to be STRONG you can be.
-STOP giving into your emotions & being at their mercy.
-Do you feel sad? Well cry it out, comfort yourself & then get right back to doing whatever you need to further your goals.
-Donât be an open book. Even if you donât feel well nobody on the outside needs to know. Donât give away your secrets. Only ask for help from appropriate people.
If you want to be FRIENDLY & PERSONABLE you can be.
-What would you do if you were drunk/ not overthinking it?
-How others react to you is none of your business. Donât let them determine your worth/ mood.
-Compliment strangers. Ask for directions. This can lead to small talk.
-Mirror people subtly. Add on to the conversation by asking questions. Wait until the other person is done speaking no matter how badly you want to get a word in.
-Get approached by always looking put together & nice. Even if youâre not, fool them on the outside.
Essentialism, Greg McKeown
Be highly selective. Donât attend meetings when you have nothing to contribute, donât read newsletters if you already know or if it doesnât really matter to you. Stop moving an inch forward in a million different directions and start gaining momentum in getting one major thing done.
Pursue less but better in a disciplined way
Warren Buffet owes 90% of his wealth to just 10 investments
On trade offs: donât ask âwhat do I want to give up?â ask âwhat do I want to go big on?â
Less, but better : if trying to start a journaling habit, start by always writing less than you want to. Usually, on the first day, youâll write many pages, and then youâll quickly start to dreading having to write so much. Until youâve made journaling a habit, write very little.
Your strategy canât be âpretty clearâ. Anyone who wears glasses knows there is a difference between âpretty clearâ and âreally clearâ.
Learn the art of the slow yes and the quick no
Beware the sunk cost bias: continuing something we would otherwise move on from, simply because we have already invested time or money in it. Itâs a vicious cycle
To attain knowledge, add things everyday. To attain wisdom, subtract things everyday. - Lao Tzu
Cues are essential in making routines smoother: if you charge your phone each night and youâd like to start journaling, put your journal right by your charger
Tackle your routines one by one: to get big results, we must start small
Eat mindfully. Live in the moment

The Ultimate Pick Yourself Up Guide đâ¨
Hey loves, I'm back with another long post and today I'm writing about picking yourself up! It's something close to my heart as I have a condition I have struggled with for years that makes it hard to concentrate.
I hope this post is like cool water to your mind and will turn your focus to yourself and how you feel.
Ok ..
Ask yourself
Does my body hurt?
Am I mentally exhausted?
Does my heart feel heavy?
Is my head spinning?
If you relate or say 'yes' to any of these, I want you to take a breath and validate your feelings. Especially on this side of Tumblr were we are constantly acquiring new skills and becoming our best selves, you need to be very careful with your health.
Like I said validate your aches and discomforts, if you are feeling stressed and heavy make sure you feel the extent of your discomfort, let it weigh on you for a second so you personally realise how much you need to take a mental getaway.
At this point cry a bit if you want, nothings wrong with crying, you don't need to be sad to cry, it's just a form of release and surrender.
Step 1 : Take a hot bath đŤď¸
Take a bath to loosen your muscles and calm yourself a bit. Become in tune with the temperature of the water and how it feels on your skin. Come back to yourself and sit and enjoy the water. You can burn some essential oil or essence sticks for energy as well as aromatherapy. The point is to get out of your head and get in tune with your senses. This is one of the methods used for calming anxiety, it brings you back to the present and away from all responsibility for a while. Massage your body after you get out with oils, it soothes your muscles a bit.
Here's a video that can be a basic guideline
Step 2 : Moving your bodyđ¤¸đ˝ââď¸
During this time where you feel out of it, your back may ache or you may genuinely feel disconnected from your body. I recommend yoga during this time as it's perfect for finding a centre in yourself as well as opening up your body. You don't wanna rush into something crazy like HIIT. Ease your body. The point of this is to romance your body, bring that love of yourself back into you. A little movement will also get some serotonin running in your system.
I'll recommend some yin yoga practices as those focus more on the lower body and hips which tend to be where stress and tension tends to collect for women.
My favourite yoga workouts come from Boho Beautiful, here are some of my favourite
Deep Yin Yoga Stretch for Releasing All That No Longer Serves You
Yin Yoga For The Upper Body and Stress
Yin Yoga For Flexibility, Sore Hips and Hamstrings
Yoga For PMS, Body Aches and Gentle Realignment
Step 3 : Meditation đ§
Meditation is amazing, you just need to have a certain amount of self discipline and surrender to the practice.
Try out Hypnosis too, as weird as it sounds it works on certain people, me being one of them đ
This part is really important as it caters to your hard working brain and muscles.
Michael Sealey is my favourite in terms of guided meditation and hypnosis
This is also a good one!
Even listen to ASMR if you like it.
Step 4 : Make food for yourself đłđ˛đĽ
You don't need to be a chef for this, all you need to do is prepare a home-made meal for yourself. It'll make you happier and make you aware of what you eat as a lot of tiredness and so many other issues are caused by certain foods you might be allergic to or have a low tolerance for.
I also suggest going vegetarian or vegan a few days of the week as meat weighs you down and makes you a bit slow as it takes long to process in the stomach.
Taking control of your diet is a huge part of taking control of your life as you are aware of what you put into yourself. I'm a full believer of the phrase "you are what you eat".
Step 5 : Talk to someone đŻ
Especially at this time, some of you could be lonely and that's the reason for your discomfort, it's nothing to be ashamed of. Humans are social by a nature. Call an old friend, your parents or if you don't have anyone go on Omegle. Just talk to someone.
Step 6 : Learn or read something đ
Some of you could be boardering brain dead territory. You need to exercise your brain, it's an organ that needs to be stimulated.
Read, download Duolingo, go people watching. Anything is better than looking at a screen all day. You might need to go on a deprogramming mission where you focus on what's real and around you. I've seen it in so many people who are so infatuated with their devices and the internet that they don't know the difference between what's real and what's not. Don't let that be you. I'm sure all of you are too pretty and smart to be having Alzheimer's in your 50s.
Step 7 : Clean your space !!! đ
This step is essential, look around your house and room. Empty the bins. Wipe everything down. Look under your bed. Check your pipe systems. Get rid of any dust, grime, mold, everything. I'm a strong germaphobe and I'm really particular about the cleanliness of my atmosphere because your atmosphere is the air you breathe and the air you breathe powers your whole existence. Now if you're sitting in a room with a moldy corner, dust mites and some 9 month old dirt living rent free, no wonder you're sad and lethargic. You're getting poisoned by your air daily!?
Here's some helpful stuff
A YouTube channel run by a cleaning expert that has videos on how to clean everything!

Step 8 : Sleepđ´
You need to recharge every night. Make sure you get atleast 7 hours of sleep. You can't expect to function at 100% with a 60% full battery.
Recommendation đ
Delete all unnecessary social media, it'll reduce a lot of stress <3
That's all I have for now

10 Traits of Highly Successful Entrepreneurs and CEOs
If youâre like me, you may be fascinated with studying the most successful people and learning from the best in the trade. Whether itâs Oprah, Marissa Peer, Beyonce, the founders of BossBabe or anyone else, there is incredible value in absorbing the readily available wisdom, tips and tricks, and the formula to their success, by simply doing your research.
In todayâs age, we can find books, autobiographies, TedTalks, podcasts and videos, to name a few â all relaying the wisdom of those that have worked long and hard to achieve their success, wealth and fame.
By learning from their mistakes and following their advice, you too can emulate the most important traits of successful entrepreneurs and CEOs.
Here are the 10 characteristics that they all have in commonâŚ
1. Ambition
Successful people are go-getters, goaldiggers, they know the sky is the limit and they deserve a slice of the cake just as much as anyone else. They donât settle for scraps, donât take no as the final answer, and if there isnât a way, they will make one. What sets them apart is their drive, that inner fuel that keeps them going even when the going gets tough.
2. Open Mind
They are focused on growth and self development, learning more every day, opening doorways and challenging themselves with every step. They approach life from a positive perspective of âHow can this get even better? How can I improve things? How can I achieve more?â instead of âWhat if xyz happens? This is bad, this is not good enoughâ.
The key here is focus, because what you focus over, youâre giving your power to, and only attracting more of. As such, when they invest all their efforts into brainstorming how a business can grow, that is what they will actively be nourishing in the future.
3. Thirst for Knowledge
Above all, success is achieved not through hard work, but through smart work. Successful people know that they donât have to reinvent the wheel and start from zero! This is so important. They recognize the amazing advantages of⌠Read more

Hey bitches!
I'm thinking about investing. Is there a thing where I can put some money away for like ten years and the interest will build it up?
Also, I've been working throughout college and I graduate in May. I should have $20,000 in debt and I start paying that off in January 2023. Since I've been working I have some money saved up. By January I should have around $31,000. Should I pay off the debt all at once or do it in chunks? Or how much should I pay per month?
