Congrats! You can now leave comments on original posts. It’s wee bit wonky but it works and is better than nothing until Tumblr kills this fix and/or makes their new one.
Realizes it's time for the costume and candy celebration. ...changes his blue armor to the red one. There. A knight costume. Brilliant.
Oh look, it's sparkle-pants! *lurklurklurklurklurklurk*
of first impressions
wollace’s pants are brighter than my future, i cant blame you
Your first impression of me? (Anonymous or not)
how picturesque. like it’s out of some STORYBOOK filled with fabled legends. the city of dreams, he says – knowing that these were the things children’s dreams were made from (like seifer, always wanting to be a knight). & maybe, just maybe that thought is a little critical. stone-laden pathways, medieval travel. even the warrior himself is much akin to the characters sprung to life. bearing all of that armor & the formality of his speech. in his day and age, those were long since passed. but there is nothing fictional about the weight of his blade or the firmness of that hand, both experienced before on ashen battlefields that stretched between cosmos & chaos.
so he relents – tries to understand. hmph. but he doesn’t need to understand, except he is the piece that doesn’t fit in here. leather-clad and smelling a little of gunsmoke.
he’s witnessed fragments of this world in the affairs before, shattered memoirs drawn from their minds and made manifest whether they liked it or not. that time? wasn’t their last. even he could feel the onset of something more – something malevolent. “cornelia, huh? feels like a blast to the past.” & there’s not an ounce of humor in his deep-set tone, but perhaps the slightest amusement.
His past, perhaps. The past of his people, citizens of cities of steel and machinery foreign to the quiet Cornelia. Cities of lights and wanders unlike anything he had ever seen. Having his comrades living in most humble circumstances was a trial, one perhaps unnecessary given the circumstances behind their visit. What he could expect, however, was the approval of his peers. The war was yet to begin. The faster his comrades became used to what Cornelia offers, the most efficiently their time would be spent the minute the battle started. Could the view of such clear waters, combined with the green, soft pasture ease his comrade’s hearts past all doubts their minds could be playing against them?
Time, and hope. Those were the only aspects the Warrior could hold himself to, prior to the sound of steel clashing against the enemy and its weapons.
“So we’ve heard”. Plenty of times his city has been called as if pulled from a story book. “The past, it seems, stopped itself from moving in our kingdom. I take this is quite the change from what your home world looks like, but if there is anything you need to make your stay comfortable, do not hesitate to ask for it”.
here have my favourite dissidia webcomic
Wollace’s pet count is now 2, Tidus the dog
and a cat that still remains unnamed.
angelsknightleonhart:
“…Yeah, exactly. Unless you named the dog after them for some negative trait, I doubt it’ll be a problem. Probably even flatter someone.”
Not me though. I’m not a fan of most dogs. Too loud.
“Their names came to mind considering how energetic the dog behaved around me. Tidus, it is. I will make sure Tidus gets to meet the dog as well”.
“I’m not eating that.”
for Wollace’s reaction
“This is a perfectly fine soup and bread, my lady. Are you sure? The next meal is not served until five hours from now”.
firixn:
“We cannot continue like this and you know it..if we continue fighting then we may as well lay our arms down and accept defeat!”
“I`m not saying we give up completely…just..give us time to regroup and rest before we take on an entire army.”
“We will not give up. We will not bend our knee just because things look dire now. We must endure this battle, brother. Rest if you need to and tell the others to take a break, I will stand in guard while you all recover”.
“Listen, it was a completely innocent gesture.”
for Wollace’s reaction
“What concerns me is that the rabbit could’ve gotten hurt by one of the horns of my helmet, Cecil. Although it was a good surprise to find the animal there”.
Now I only need to plan tonight’s dinner.
“Okay, I know this looks bad…”
for Wollace’s reaction
“Bad is an understatement. There were innocent people inside that caravan. A village has lost the provisions they were expecting with the arrival of this group of people”.
“You are giving me not many options”.
