none of the links are working in the homestuck masterpost?
Since I changed my url, my links needed to be changed with it ( Will get on that soon! ~Fangy
So i tried clicking on a link in how to make troll teeth in one of your masterposts and it didnt work! :‹ it might be because I'm on moblie idk
Sorry, love! Still working on getting my site back to where it is supposed to be since I changed my url! ~Fangy
i was wondering if it was okay to "casually" cosplay as nepeta for Halloween? i don't have much time plus im not sure i want to go full hog. (im also a dude) p.s im sorry if I asked this twice, im forgetful af
You can do any cosplay you want during hlloween! And any gender can cosplay anything they want :3 ~Fangy
Can I use a foundation brush to apply body paint?
No way, body paint should be put on with a sponge (usually) and sponged on in sections to get an even coat. Foundation brushes are too fanned out and will leave terrible streaks and clumps.

Militarystuck Tips
Alrighty, militarystuck is always really cool! And if you pull it off right, then it looks even cooler!
NOTE: THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED AS A FIRST COSPLAY
To start, be sure you know your character pretty well, know their colors, style. In this example Im going to be using Porrim because..well....I am Porrim and she is me.
I know that her thing is sultry, sexy looks as seen in her sexy dress, swirling sultry tats and that makeup that gives her lusty look. In that case, I also know her colors would be green, black, and white (with her glowing skin and all).
Now you’ve got a color pallet! Which will be important! More color pallets would be vriska: (Black, Blue, Dark Grey, Red) or Terezi: (Teal, Red, black) Feel free to add many other colors as well!
Next, start looking up cosplay designs other people have done or drawings other people have done.
Here is a great design of cosplays and here is some cool drawings. You can do your research and find out what you like and dislike, and you can even come up with your own elaborate designs.
Now that you have general colors and a general design, it’s time to get your basics together, your wig of the character, grey paint (if doing a troll), their weapon, and other such props that make them who they are. As well as horns made, teeth made, etc etc.
Next thing is to figure out how you want your outfit. This will require sewing! Want a tailcoat? Want a corset-coat thing that ruffles out the back? There’s plenty of patterns out there that can definitely be used for militarystuck. Some of them say ‘steampunk’ on them, because that's a perfect military style! Here, here, here, here, here , here, here and here are some GREAT ones to use.
Now for the little things:
-studs, studs everywhere ad chains
-boots, combat boots will do, but if you’re doing vriska the best will be tall red boots and you can make boot covers if need be.
-splashes of gold everywhere show ‘ranking’ so little shoulder things, medallions, gold roping along jackets etc etc etc
-lace for the ladies, put it everywhere
-you will want to get a hat like this or this but make sure you’re very good with cutting holes in it to stuff your horns through if you have horns and don’t be afraid to add to it!
Don’t be afraid to add things like eyepatches to characters that don’t usually have one, some bloody makeup on con day, or even a cane modified to fit the character!
I hope this helped, for any specific things just ask!

Do u have cosplays for the alpha kids in trickster mode
The only one I currently have up is Roxy’s trickster. If you’d like to request a certain one please wait until Requests are open.
~Fangy
yoooo so you linked the '' CreamBlend™ Stick'' and i have some questions okay okay, 1 can u wash it away with water, 2 what coulour is suggestted to take for the trolls :DD
Yes, it washes away with water, but adding soap or using makeup revomver might be better. The color you will want is light grey, and if you want a look at it, this person uses it for their Terezi makeup.

What's your godtier?
I have Porrim’s godtier, Maid of Space! *wiggles fingers* I make stuff I guess lol
~Fangy
Hey! I'm cosplaying John at some point but I headcanon him as being really pale but I'm tanned as all hell, do you have any tips on paling your face out at all? ❤️
The only advice I have is wearing really light foundation and being sure to use a string primer to hold that foundation all day.
Even if your headcanon doesn’t match your skin color, don’t be afraid to rock the cosplay anyways!
~Fangy
Hi there! I'm planning to do a trickster Roxy cosplay for the end of February but I can't think of anything to make the icecream hair piece with so that it'll be light. Any idea what material I should use or anything like that?
Please check the masterlist for the trickster Roxy masterpost
~Fangy
Hi so I'm just starting my search for a trickster Roxy cosplay and I was wondering if you knew where to get the clothes? Or any tutorials on how to make them? Thank you!!
Here is a whole entire masterpost!
~Fangy
So I'm looking to do a sprite in the future, but I'm unsure if I should use grease paint or not? Some people tell me it sucks, and others say that the other stuff cracks way too much. Which one should I go with?
That depends! Grease paint can get really shiny and is very thick but durable during the day. Shiny and thick can look back and feel uncomfortable. Water based paint can crack, but that depends on the type and how you wear it. Fabric paint on arms and chest also works to if you’d like.
~Fangy
So my best friend and flush crush and I are thinking about cosplaying Feferi and Eridan. I'm for sure cosplaying Feferi but I case he does make up his mind do you have a tutorial for Eridan like you do with fef?
Here you go, but this hasnt been updated so you may find some broken links, you can feel free to use any links that are not broken but I will be releasing soon when all masterposts are updated!
~Fangy
Ello! I was thinking of doing a Kankri cosplay but I can't use contact lenses and my eyes are darkish blue. Would the cosplay still look good without the "dead eyes"?
Yes!
~Fangy
So I was thinking about cosplaying Kurloz, and I have never tried contacts before, and I'm sort of nervous to try them since my friends say they wouldn't be the best for me. I've also heard it's hard to see in all white contacts. I was wondering do I specifically need all white contacts to look good as a dancestor
Not at all! Plenty of great cosplayers go without contacts! IF you ever have a photoshoot done you can edit your eyes to be white then. IF you decide to go above and beyond then get your white contacts but be very careful with them!
~Fangy
Do you accept pictures for you to criticize/give advice on??
Of course! Please include if you want a reply privately or publicly as well.
~Fangy
Is a grey morph suit with no head good to use for cosplaying? I have used body paint and things like that and always end up getting it all over- sealed or not!
That could be a great idea to invest in! Though it may be hot underneath all those layers, but if you’re willing to put up with the heat then yeah! Definitely! Be sure to stay hydrated and cool, though especially during summer!
