We're a group of enthusiastic cosplayers who thrive at the chance to bring joy to others. We perform panels at cons wherever we can. The best thing is they're all 100% improvised!
As of this publishing, we have eleven Official Cast Members. But that doesn't mean we're exclusive or adverse to interest! We love working with other cosplayers and doing groups with others.
Michi is our founder. Michi has been cosplaying for 12 years and attending cons for the past consecutive 11. In the group you'll see Michi cosplay as Fred Jones, Captain Hook, Tadashi Hamada and more.
Shaggy has gained immense popularity over the years in the Ohio convention going area. He doesn't just cosplay Shaggy though! He has Flynn Rider and Kisuke Urahara. Tim tends to stick to Ohio cons only.
Cassimonee is a con-going champ. Not only that, but she's an amazing photographer as well! You'll see her around the Cosprov team as Daphne Blake or Go Go Tamago and others. She's an excellent craftsman and does adorable couples cosplays with her hunky boyfriend, too.
Elendriel is well known in the con-going community, attending conventions all across the country. Honestly, this woman has way too many cosplays to count, all of which are forged by her own awesome hands. Catch her with the cast as Velma Dinkley, The Master, and more.
Chelsea is a crossplay wizard. Able to go from Harley Quinn to Cloud Strife in a matter of a few hours, she's a master of make up. Chelsea has won several awards for her craftsmanship and judges cosplay contests around the Ohio area. Sometimes cosplaying with her boyfriend-boo as the infamous duo of Cloud and Sephiroth-- she does enjoy taking time to make Peter Pan jokes too.
He's mad! Dancing Mad to be precise. When he's not noshing on noodles as a Kung Fu Panda, he's usually striking fear into the hearts of Final Fantasy fans across the con as the evil Kefka. While he loves being the villain, he can cosplay a great hero too. Keep an eye out for Colossalcon and the Williams crew!
Noemi is no stranger to cons, but her face is a mystery. She crafts large cosplays and wears them around con-- known best for Benny from Lego Movie, she plans to tackle another adorable character for Colossalcon. Look out for her Baymax with our Big Hero 6 group!
Emi is tiny but spunky. She's often flitting around con as Tinker Bell but cosplays an adorable Steve Rogers too. She may be fairly new to cosplay, but she's really making a name for herself. Catch her running around in Hiro Hamada [usually on Michi's shoulders] sometime.
MJ is Emi's best friend. The two are peas in a pod. MJ is quite adept at putting together a cosplay on a budget, and knows how to craft things last minute too. Look forward to seeing her around as Peter, Honey Lemon, and even Aunt Cass! Though she may have a villain cosplay in the works...
Kate is a bit of a Harley Quinn fanatic-- but you can see her around in Donna Noble and Tick Toc Crock with the team. Kate loves her corsets and discusses them at length during Crossplay panels. Safety is always a priority!
Naomi [represented by her adorable pup] is Cosprovisation's official artist. She also helps Noemi with her cosplays, since they're twin sisters. Naomi loves art and even takes commissions. You can find her in the Artist Alley of most of the cons the team attends.

As for cosplays, we're not all sure WHO we are cosplaying, but you'll be able to find us, definitely.
oh my god I can’t believe it!!!!!!! I actually got my wig basically back into the condition that it was in when it was brand new!!!!!! DAMN I did NOT expect a result like that holy shit I’m so happily surprised since it was SO tangled and greasy like omg so I’m gonna explain what I did so hopefully other people can fix their own wigs in the future!!!!!
first, I washed the wig. I put the wig on a wig head on top of a guitar stand so that it was elevated and none of the hair was touching the ground. I got a spray bottle, filled it with 3 squirts of regular shampoo, 4 squirts of regular conditioner, 2 squirts of dish soap, and the rest with water and shook it up so it was combined. then I sprayed the wig all over until it was coated, rubbed the solution into the wig hair, and then brought the wig into the shower running cold water and rubbed the solution into the hair more before washing it all out.
secondly, I filled the sink with a solution of diluted fabric softener. i put one capful of fabric softener in the sink and filled the rest with water. i put my wig in the solution and let it sit overnight.
in the morning, i took the wig out of the solution and rinsed off any fabric softener in the shower again with cold water. i squeezed the water out of the wig and then took a towel and squeezed any other water out of the wig.
now this is the part that took forever lmao. while the wig was still wet, I carefully brushed all of the tangles in the entire wig with both a wig brush and a plastic comb. the fabric softener solution helped to loosen up all of the tangles. working in small sections, and from working from the bottom to the top from each section, i was finally able to brush out all of the tangles. after each section, again i would combine the completed sections and brush them as a whole. this took well over an hour haha
then, i let the wig sit for 5 or so hours and air dry.
and finally, i straightened the entire wig. again, working in small sections, i had my straightener on a fairly high setting and straightened each section, with emphasis on the bottom, because that’s where the wig was super frizzy and gross. after each section, again i would combine the completed sections and straighten them as a whole. this also took over an hour lmao orz
and there you have it!!!! my wig is good as new!!!! i was so surprised because it is such a long and thick wig i didn’t think i would be able to make it look as good as it does!!! i hope this can help other people who have horribly tangled/frizzy wigs to recover as well!!

Includes silk painting with resist (Elven Banner), free-hand painting on stretch fabrics (Jareth from Labyrinth), fake embroidery with puffy paint (Peter of Narnia), graphite transfer paper with fabric paint pens (Tali from Mass Effect) and regular Tulip fabric paint (TARDIS lab coat).
We had SUCH a great time at Ohayocon! It was a great con to kick off a new year and a new team.
