♕ HOGWARTS UNIVERSITY
One of the oldest and most renowned schools in the entire world, Hogwarts University has produced some of the greatest minds in wizarding history. Although they try to keep an open acceptance policy, there are thousands of applicants every year and the staff has no choice but to narrow it down to the few exceptional and passionate students. What makes Hogwarts outstanding is how quickly they adapt to the changing times as well as their emphasis on having a safe environment. They are highly accommodating to students with special needs or special abilities, as long as these students do not pose a direct uncontrollable threat towards themselves or others.
Students and faculty at Hogwarts University are now playable! general curriculum Depending on pre-requisites, educational and personal backgrounds as well as majors, students may have to take these classes or have the option to take these electives. The courses in the general curriculum are highly important and the school encourages students to take as many classes from this list.
— MUGGLE HISTORY — MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY — ENGLISH LITERATURE (Magical & Muggle) — INTERSECTIONAL GEOGRAPHY (Students learn where magical and muggle establishments overlap as well as striving to understand how it is possible for these areas to function in both worlds, especially without drawing muggle attention.) — INTERHUMAN RELATIONS (Understanding the struggle between the magical and non-magical community; similar to public relations as well as international relations.) — DRIVER’S EDUCATION (Obtaining a muggle driver’s license) — INTERNATIONAL STATUTE OF WIZARDING SECRECY: HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT (Mandatory for all students)
majors The university offers an extensive list of majors that cover both magic and muggle studies, specializing in the amalgamation of both. Each major will have at least one class specializing on the muggle aspect of said major. Students may choose to double major, but it is ill-advised as the course loads are already quite heavy. Electives can also be taken from other majors. This is not a complete list, it only encompasses the more popular departments and the majors within them and is highly influenced by the local companies and job opportunities. More often than not, majors act like Houses seen within the canon Harry Potter verse. For example, Slytherin Syndicates highly prefer to hire Business students while Gryffindor Group prefers students who synthesize both magical and muggle theory. If there are any core classes we’ve missed or didn’t think of, feel free to let us know and we’ll happily add it onto the list!

We understand not all characters will have been educated in the UK - Dumstrang and Beauxbatons are sister universities to Hogwarts, located in Norway and France respectively. Other wizarding colleges, like Salem Witches University in the states, are also part of our canon - feel free to make up your own University if none of the canonical ones fit your criteria. All students who attend, and all faculty/staff that work at Hogwarts University, will register as UNIVERSITY. Muggles are not allowed to attend, though there may be some Muggle professors, depending on the subject. Most interns for the four companies and the Ministry attend Hogwarts University.

♕ Site Event 01: Yule Ball! In light of the upcoming holidays, Crown on the Ground is having its very first site event! Every single member is cordially invited to this year’s Yule Ball hosted by Slytherin Syndicates and Hufflepuff Headlines Media! It’s open to the public and everyone is welcome. (Slytherin has decided to be extra cordial and extend their invitiation to all of Gryffindor Group, muggles included. How that works out will certainly be interesting!) Feel free to get started on the holiday cheer, just remember to post in the YULE BALL FORUM that will be created for the event. (In-game, the ball will be held at Malfoy Manor.) Please remember this is black tie event and don’t forget to have fun! This event will last until the end of the month.
