Pointless rant that I don’t expect anyone to read, but if you exclude asexual and aromantic people from any LGBTQ+ thing, you are a huge weirdo and should be embarrassed as fuck. If you hate Ace/Aro people you should feel so incredibly ashamed and unloved.
If you think sex and/or romance are 100% unavoidably necessary to the human experience, you should try really hard to gain a more nuanced perspective of the world and people around you. And if you think not being sexual makes someone less queer, you should really be embarrassed for feeling that way and maybe put some effort towards having better opinions.

Ah, apparently (so far) roughly 80% of aro/ace's are predators… to garlic bread, with a further 60% being oriented to cake. The remaining 20% have celiac (or another allergy/illness) but would like to be included so they shall hunt in spirit.

I cannot even explain how ANGRY I am at this.
My nephew is very allergic to eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame. Last year my sister discovered all hot dogs and hamburger buns now contain sesame. Not "may contain", but listed in the ingredients. This year basically every brand of sliced bread also now contains sesame, making it very difficult to find bread items he can eat.
They're just adding it to their products, so they can just list it as an ingredient and not bother with worrying about cross contamination. And they aren't even bothering with telling anyone. Capitalism is going to kill us all.

Ok not to be aroace on main but that's exactly what I am and I'm so sick of the voice inside my head wondering what the hell is wrong with me when it should be wondering what the hell is wrong with this world.
Being aroace is BEAUTIFUL. It's SO COOL. It takes you by the hand and shows you all the bullshit society pushes on people, it's natural for us to question the status quo and it is so beautiful to defy a system that has explotation as a goal. It is so FIERCE and so, let me emphasize, enherently QUEER, to be aromantic and/or asexual.

As someone with gastroparesis and celiac disease i thought id share some items that have gluten or gluten byproducts to end celiac awareness month.
1. Chicken broth contains yeast extract. This is gluten free but not celiac safe.
2. Most beauty products have a wheat binding agent. If its on your face its in your mouth
3. Deodorant. Toothpaste. Perfume. Lotion. Found this out the hard way when my dermatitis flared because of gluten in my lotion and my mouth broke out in sores due to my dental products.
4. Most seasonings are gluten free but not celiac safe due to binding agents. Do research please or make your own seasoning.
5. My sadest loss was bath and body works hand sanitizer. Uses a wheat agent in most sanitizers. Especially the moisturizer.
6. If you date someone who just ate a sandwich or other gluten item. A peck is fine without brushing teeth but if they have facial hair or crumbs on their lips they must rinse their face.
Please stay safe loves and if you know someone with celiac please be aware that this is a very isolating condition and many people will brush off the cross contamination but even a crumb can cause immense pain and discomfort. Worse cases can even lead to cancer and death. You wouldn't poison a stranger because they said they couldnt eat bread, but in ignoring the request or warning thats what your doing.
If someone with celiac says no thank you to food please dont take offense we appreciate the sentiment and support but this is a very strict condition that even the smallest grain could fracture. We love you all and appreciate support and comfort.

Fun fact about the kissing part! New studies have shown that if the person who ate gluten drinks at least 4 ounces of water immediately after eating, that the gluten levels in their salvia are under 20 parts per million (ppm), which is the safe threshold per the FDA.
Of course, your mileage may vary. Honestly, I still make my partner (non-celiac) brush their teeth and clean their face before kissing me (celiac) because I am overly cautious so do what you would like! But I thought this new info was neat so I thought I would share :)
