When the issue of abortion came up during the vice-presidential debate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, gave an impassioned answer touting his belief in “the sanctity of life.” Many watching were quick to pick up on the phrase — considering many of his political beliefs and policies point in the opposite direction.
