I wasn’t looking for anything at all when I met you. Actually, I wasn’t planning on falling for anyone so soon. But then I met you. And that was it…I guess things just happened. I found you and I found myself slowly wanting to spend time with you. It was simple. It was easy. And I think that’s how the best relationships begin. You’re not looking for anything and then suddenly you realize; you have something.
— I fell hard.
my favorite emotion is when someone does something kinda foolish and all you can say is “i love you” in response

How to Clear Your Skin (Challenge)
Things to Start Doing :
Wash your face morning and night, especially if you’ve been wearing makeup all day or you had hair products in your hair at night, this all means clogged pores. (A good thing to use for getting makeup off is an oil cleanser. I swear by oil cleansers)
Use your fingers rather than a rough washcloth on your face and suds your face for around 30-45 seconds. Even if you feel like your face is rough and needs scrubbing, don’t give your face rough treatment. Your skin is very delicate.
Rinse your face with cold water. Hot water opens your pores, cold water closes them.
Don’t overwash your face. Once in the morning and once in the evening is enough. More than that can dry your face out making it break out even more. However, if you work out, make sure you wash your face gently afterwards and moisturize because sweat attracts dirt which all clogs up pores.
DO NOT Exfoliate your face on a daily basis, rather opt for using a facial scrub once or twice a week.(Sit down and make a schedule for what day you’ll exfoliate)
Choose a day to apply a face mask on a weekly basis too!
Regardless of your skin type (oily, dry, combination) your skin still needs to be moisturized on a daily basis. Many people with oil skin think that the solution is to not moisturize, but that is not true. Get yourself a good moisturizer that doesn’t dry your face out. If you’ve got dry skin, try a face oil rather than a lightweight lotion.
Products with alcohol will dry your skin out, this is especially bad for people with dry skin. So, take note of ingredients.
Drinking water helps clear skin up along with cutting sugar out of one’s diet. If you want faster results, try to up your water intake to at least 2l a day and just cut all added sugars out of your life cold turkey. (It will not be easy, but it’ll be worth it because your skin will get an added glow).
If you do go on a sugar detox, eat berries. They are sweet, not calorie or carb filled and have Vitamin C in them!
Cut out on that greasy food! You don’t need its bad effects on your body or skin!
Change your pillowcase! Ya’ll, if you do not change all your sheets every week IDK what you’re doing but you need to start washing them evry week. Usually I do it on the weekend or Mondays. The same goes for washing your blankets, they need to be thrown in the wash every once in a while(not every week) and towels definitely need to be washed every week.
Clean your phone. That goes on your face and the built up oils etc can really mess with your skin. We’re also supposed to clean our earphones, so maybe clean both at the same time.
The three step solution for acne is:a salicylic acid cleanser, a benzoyl peroxide spot treatment, and a daily moisturizer. Salicylic acid breaks down and dissolves all the gross stuff that clogs pores, benzoyl peroxide reduces the acne causing bacteria on your skin, but they dry your skin out and cause peeling so don’t overuse them(Also, toss it after 3 months because its ingredients become inactive) and a moisturizers boost hydration in your face whilst giving your face a protective layer.
DON’T POP YOUR PIMPLES! We all know that we are guilty of doing it.
Matter of fact, DON’T TOUCH YOUR FACE!
Wash your makeup brushes. We are all so guilty of not doing this, but, change your ways. Take a day and just put those babies in warm water with baby shampoo or normal shampoo and make sure you wash everything out. Chances are, application will go a whole lot smoother once you’ve done this.
Use sunscreen! No matter who you are, if you’re going to leave the house, put some sunscreen on your face. Even in the winter.
Try reducing your alcohol and dairy intake and seeing where your skin is after that. Dairy is especially bad for us because cows are pumped with so many hormones in order to keep them producing milk and we might be ingesting a large amount of that. Plus, those of ya’ll who are lactose intolerant are well aware that you should not be eating dairy.
Change your products seasonally. If your skin is bad and you’re using the same products that you were using in the winter, think about how much drier skin usually is in the winter and adjust your products in order to ensure that your face isn’t too greasy in the summer.
Get enough hours of sleep. Yes, even your sleep affects your skin. Use something like a fitbit etc to check how much sleep you’re getting and adjust accordingly.
Apple cider vinegar can also work as a toner!
Don’t be discouraged by not seeing immediate results for your dark spot correctors! These things take time. Just, be habitual with the application and you’ll eventually start seeing results.
Lastly, if these tips don’t work or your face is heavily sever, go to a dermatologist and get advice from them.
