More Dawn x Astarion.
Self care sometimes involves making silly videos featuring a bard core cover of pink pony club, of your holy paladin tav and astarion.
Here's the cover illustration of Astarion by @tkingfisher , a Baldur's Gate 3 novel, that I had the immense pleasure of painting for Penguin Random House and Wizards of the Coast!
Book is out on September 29th, 2026, and the audiobook will be narrated by Neil Newbon himself! (x)
Cheers, darling! 🥂🩸

I started this with the intention of it being only two images. And turned into a small comic and animation. I even went as far as to draw a wedding picture for the background. I had to redraw Astarion from the Smosh/Shut Up cartoons! scene to properly animate him with my Tav. Dawn is Astarion's big goth guard dog wife. She's a paladin oath breaker and a softy. I really enjoy drawing her in this style. I like that i can make them intentionally cringe and silly, the are the oldest in there gameing party so I wanted to reflect that in their out of date speach.
I'm working on some larger projects at this time. And as a break, I've been drawing edits of the Mashed cartoon to include my friend's Monk Tav Duke and my paladin Tav, named Dawn. Dawn is with Astarion, and Duke is with Lae'zel. In the campaign we are doing, Duke is constantly nude because he's a naked monk that has gear that buffs him for not wearing armour. Sure, he could toggle the camp clothes, but it's funnier like this. A running joke when I draw him is to put random objects in front of him as a censor.

At last finished a complete playtrough.
Dawn and Astarion's story starts here, and they already see each other as life partners. It is my headcanon that Astarion is actually a serious relationship kind of guy, despite how he comes across. He's very committed and likes to know where he stands in the relationship. Ascendant Astarion is quick to make Tav his consort, and that is a life partner for vampires.
Ps, sorry to my best friend who played this with me and put up with Dawn and Astarion's B role love story, while the game broke your Lae'zel romance.

What do you MEAN my favorite author is writing this. What the fuck do you MEAN the audiobook is narrated by Neil fucking Newbon himself???!? And they collaborated with Stephen Rooney, Astarion’s original writer for the game?
I’m going to fucking die. I’m scared. I want to read it so bad and it’s going to make me fucking ugly cry. I can’t fucking breathe through excitement/dread.
My attempt at creating an Astarion/Neil 3D model. It still needs work, especially under the eyes, and I would like to age him a bit. But I thought I might as well post the tests.
Astarion. portrait, finished
prints available. :)
I have crossed oceans of time to find you." Reincarnation of a love lost. Astarion waits centuries for his fallen wife.
Homage to one of my favourite movies.
Bram Stoker's Dracula, 1992. It is nothing like the namesake book, but it's a gorgeous movie with amazing fashion that tells a story on its own; it's visually gorgeous and just a bit corny. If you like Gothic romance and visuals, check it out. It was my first vampire movie and is still one of my favourites.
