Couples Eat Out (CEO) is a food blog about an Emirati-based couple that regularly dines out. We were born and raised in the capital, Abu Dhabi and are avid foodies. We enjoy trying old and new eateries while we sit side-by-side, sharing our dishes and making the most out of our experience. If we don't grab a take-out, we like to cook for one another and consider our spreads worthy blogging about too. We like to share our dining experiences with family and friends, and have become alike Zomato, Yelp and TripAdvisor reviewers within our group. So, we've decided to expand our audience and delve into the culinary world with you as we write simple thoughts about dishes, menus and restaurants if you plan to eat out in the UAE.

Villa Toscana is a gem! 🇮🇹💎 Nice setting, great people working there, and most importantly - Fantastic food! There was a Risotto festival when we went and for the first time ever...had 6 Rissoto dishes 🔙2️⃣🔙 Never ate so many of the rich, creamy, Italian specialty in one sitting ever! 😌 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ (at Villa Toscana at St. Regis Corniche)

@azkadenyauae is a quirky restaurant that takes classic Middle Eastern dishes and plays around with flavours.🤹 They use unexpected ingredients but still keep that warm feeling of a home-cooked meal. 🏠♨️ We give this place a 9️⃣/🔟; It's got plenty of funky décor and humorous Arabic sayings plastered all over the dishes/walls. When in doubt, go for the combo plates! 😁 We got the Tour of Italy, and enjoyed the pastas. The Homemade Lasagna was out of this world! Super tasty. The cheese used tasted creamy and just worked really well. 😘👌 The sauce of the Creamy Fettuccini was great but the pasta was mushy. Meaning it was overcooked 😔... The Breaded Chicken Parmigiana was not the best. It lacked seasoning and the tomato sauce drizzled over it made the breading soggy. The Zuppa Toscana Soup is the definition of comfort food. 🥄♨️🤗 A thick and creamy base with potato slices and diced up beef sausage and bacon. Sounds good, right?! 🤤 Shame it was a bit disappointing 😔... The soup was quite salty and lacked seasoning, it needed alot more ingredients but it was still addictive with its nice aftertaste. If you're looking for large portions of Italian / American food then you will enjoy the Olive Garden! 🇮🇹🍽️😋 We visited @RiverlandDubai branch so we had a great view of the park and a fireworks show to bid us farewell after our dinner. 🎆🎢🌛 We give this place a 6️⃣/🔟; Due to the greasiness of the mains, the lack of seasoning and a slightly overcooked pasta. The Chilean Seabass is a must try! The baked fish was great and the sauce was super delicious. 🐟🥇🐟 What added to our evening outing was the head chef visited our table, and very kindly explained the ingredients of the sauce all the ingredients blended so nicely that we actually thought it was peanut sauce!🥜😋 ⭐Highly recommended! ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ (at Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi)

As big escalope fans, we were really looking forward to that crunchy goodness as soon as it came to the table.🐮🤠 It was beautifully presented, steaming hot and it's aroma took over the whole table. ♨️ Sadly, it was more oily than crunchy.
