As i was reading, this particular passage jumped out at me, and I couldn’t help but laugh, as this is one of the facts I have preached since I was old enough to form my own opinions on the world.

“Can the torn and bloody victim “love” the blood splashed jaws that rend him limb from limb?”

this passage begs the question “why should I love someone who has caused me pain?” whether that be physical or emotional. hate is a natural instinct and defensive reaction to someone who has done us wrong, and should not be suppressed.

““Love one another” it has been said is the supreme law, but what power made it so? upon what rational authority does the gospel of love rest? why should i not hate mine enemies - if i “love” them does it not place me at their mercy?”

this outlines an ideal that should make sense, but is for some reason frowned upon. again, the logical ways of this religion are a refreshing change from the fake “always happy love” you see so much in mainstream society.

One of the most fascinating parts of this religion to me is the value that you shouldn’t hold back, and enjoy life. This is a statement that should be so blatant, but for some reason we have been told to do the opposite as humans.

another passage that stood out to me, again highlighting a remarkable truth, which people so blatantly ignore! it preaches a message of not being easily fooled, or tricked into any religion or otherwise cult that may try to tempt you. for this would be the beginning of your inevitable spiral into stupidity and blind faith.
