Today was the day. No going back on plans. Luca was going to come out (snorts) and confess her love for Sherry, with a gift Today was Valentines day and Luca has been nervous the past few weeks. Would Sherry reject her gift and love? Or will she feel the same way? Luca sighed. (sigh motherfucker) She parked her car in Sherry's driveway (how the hell?) and sat back in her seat. She wasn't quite sure if she was ready yet. She glanced over at the bouquet of flowers and picked them up. Holding the flowers close to her chest, she wished herself luck and exited the car. As she looked at Sherry's house she saw the front window curtains draw back, and Sherry was looking out. When Sherry noticed her, she smiled and waved. "Won't he/she be sad?" "I think I love you" Luca finished. Sherry opened her mouth, as if to say something, but quickly shut it. She studied the bouquet closer and took it out of Luca's hands hesitantly. "Luca.. I'm flattered I really am.. but.. I have to ask about" "I left Nessloid" (HARD TO KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE MAN. HARD.) Luca stared down at the floorboard twiddling her thumbs. "Why would you leave him/her? You two looked so happy together.. at least it seemed that way." Luca looked up at Sherry, starring into her eyes. "I left him/her for you" Luca stepped closer to Sherry, grabbing the flowers and setting them somewhere nearby before. (that is literally in the fic) Luca took hold of Sherry's hand before she could protest. "I had a feeling I could be happier with you.. I don't know if you even like me.. I don't know if you even like woman." (How do you not know? I'm so fucking gay everyone knows.) I always pushed back my feelings for you because of the same reasons.." "So.. So all this time you-" Luca's words trailed off. She was too busy worrying about his own feelings and the terrible thought of being rejected, that he never acknowledged Sherry's affection toward her. Sherry nodded, a faint smile on her face. "Luca.. you could have confessed sooner. You kept me waiting." "I'm sorry... oh, and Sherry?" "What is it?" Luca leaned forward, closer and closer to Sherry's ear "Sherry, will you be my valentine?"
