I’m currently homeless sleeping rough after my dad kicked me out last Saturday because he found out I’m gay and have been SHing. I’ve been able to get free water and phone charging from a really kind local cafe and they gave me some toast on tuesday which was so kind but I havent been able to get any help from my council or homeless charities becasue theyre so overwhelmed as so many people need help so I have a long wait ahead but I wont give up hope 😞 I also have a job interview april 10th so hopefully things will get better 🤞

If any of you can spare anything at all in the meantime, anything would help and I’d appreciate it and repay it into the universe in. Any way I can, I just need to get something to eat and hopefully a sleeping bag 🙏❤️

Press opens up about her relationship with fellow soccer star Tobin Heath, and reacts to being called a power couple. Press also reflects on her career, playing for her hometown of Los Angeles and what it means to advance women's sports.

Kevin Frazier: Alright, this is the red carpet debut for you two, isn't it? Christen Press: It might be. It depends. We've been to a couple red carpets before. KF: Oh you have? Okay. CP: Yeah yeah, yeah. No actually, I remember we flew from the 2019. When we won, we went to a ticker tape parade and then we came directly to the ESPYS, I'm pretty sure, as an entire team.

KF: I think of, maybe there's this lady in Seattle and your teammate, that would be probably the biggest power couple from your team. But, you two kind of form a power couple. CP: Oh, a lady in Seattle also known as Sue Bird? They're a pretty awesome power couple. KF: But you two form a power couple also. CP: I'd like to think so. I mean, I think power comes from the inside out and it's like what you believe that you are, you believe in your value. That's something I've been doing my whole career. That's something that Tobin does. We believe in ourselves, we have to.

KF: Let me ask you something. Do you guys talk. Does Tobin give you, or you give Tobin advice? CP: Tobin's given me a lot of advice. She's played on the US Women’s National Team since she was 17, so I remember before I got my very first cap, I went to her and I was like, 'Well, I don't play this position. Tell me what to do." So, it's been a lot of one-way. She's the soccer expert from young childhood and... KF: But you're the star... CP: ...I like excellence. I like being great. I like scoring goals so it works both ways in that way, I guess.

KF: Qualifying? What does that mean? Because I think there's an expectation now, that y'all will qualify every year and win the whole damn thing. CP: And every year it gets harder and harder. So proud of the team. Not only was it the next World Cup but it was the next Olympics. The first time the team had to do both in the same tournament. It's really hard. A lot of pressure.

KF: Also, what does it mean to be here in Los Angeles, to see the reception of Angel City and how people are reacting? CP: It's been like nothing else in my career. It has been life-changing. To play for my hometown and these fans, it means everything to me. KF: And they turn out. I mean, folks turn out. CP: Every week. Every week, and you know what? There's something special that happens in the stadium that I can't explain it. You have to come out and experience it yourself. But it's about something more than sport. It's about progress. And it's about pushing women forward and women's sport forward and it's really beautiful.
