Delicious rainbow stitches!
Spectacular Single Skein Scarf
by Jo Haward - This pattern is available as a free Ravelry download
This simple lace scarf was designed for that gorgeous skein of luxurious hand dyed yarn that you couldn’t resist buying. It’s completely reversible and there is almost no waste as you can keep knitting till you get to the end of your yarn.
OMG yummy
New yarn, unable to resist. Winter is coming, everyone needs a new scarf. Right?!
Made a mistake so started again but made each section 6 stitches instead of 8 as I thought it would suit the length of the colour repeat of the yarn better.
Entrelac tier two!
Inspired by someone at work who has a seemingly never-ending supply of exciting jumpers, I decided to have a go at entrelac.
The following video on youtube was very helpful and includes directions to a free entrelac scraf pattern. YUMMY!
Adventures of a Threadhead turned 5 today!
Awwww
Crochet hat. Still needs an edging, ties on the earflaps and a pom pom on the top for amusement :-D
I used this pattern by Knittwittz from Ravelry, a black hole of ideas, patterns, yarn and pattern reviews etc etc for knitters, crocheters and spinners.
Accidentally a new thing. Slip stitch pattern neck warmer using cheap sparkly yarn. Need to finish super quick as it’s jolly cold on London at the moment :-D
Restarting this sparkly purple scarf.
Blocking....
At last, the green cable top is being washed and blocked! Can’t wait to wear it :-D
Tried it on to see how sleeve is fitting. As long as I don’t workout too much and don’t get muscles it will be fine ;-) Feels so soft, can’t wait to wear it, although since starting it I’ve realised that I think it’s wrong to use animal fibres and so will not be buying any more. I have some gorgeous bamboo yarn which I can’t wait to try out, maybe make myself some socks :-D
Current cardigan progress: body finished, working on first sleeve :-) might be ready to wear by the time it gets really cold!!!
