Good news and bad news...

The Good news is that I’ve hit 300 followers. Thanks so much for all the follows.

The bad news is that I have 8 posts in the queue and those will be my last 8 posts here. I’ve gotten incredibly busy with a ton of stuff and beyond that, I’ve been working on posts here, but Tumblr keeps stopping me from doing what I’m trying to do. Because of the limitations, I’m losing motivation quite rapidly to make much longer posts like this one.

There are other reasons as well, but I hope you’ve enjoyed my posts while they’ve lasted.

“Honey, what’s tbt stand for? I saw it on Instagram.”

Your mom asked, looking at her phone which she held like a piece of alien technology. Beyond selfies, Instagram, and facebook, your mom hadn’t much mastered the use of her phone.  You told her that it stood for Throwback Thursday. Then you explained to her that Throwback Thursday was some way for people to express nostalgia for something in the form of pictures. Your mom thought it was very exciting. Every Thursday, she posted some photo from when she was young. You usually scrolled past it. Until these two photos popped up on Instagram.

“I used to wear this swimsuit when I was in college. That was 3 kids ago. I’m surprised it still fits! #tbt”

You weren’t sure what to do, but saw that it had almost 300 likes in less than 10 minutes. You recognized a lot of those names from your school. You were still trying to figure out what to tell your mom when she came into your room.

“Honey, one of your friends just sent me a message. What’s a MILF?”
