Alone

Bro I just wanna post shit at 12 am no balls. Imma regret this cuz ion really like this poem oh well. Theres a saying or maybe its just a go to phrase people use that normally sounds along the lines of "you're never alone". They always claim how you're not alone. Yet why do we still have the feeling of loneliness? Of emptiness? On a planet full of billions of people we have the decency to claim we are alone that we have no one. Yet we are always told we aren't. You have friends you laugh you're happy but you go home and you're empty? Is that truly loneliness or a long for company? When does longing become loneliness and emptiness become silence? Where do the definitions of all those words mix together like paint on a canvas? Where do the words and meanings get jumbled up. Where are the words to describe our exact feelings? Where we think there should be such a word to describe those feelings there are none. We substitute those feelings without a name for something else but is it truly what we are feeling or a just a word to make us feel like we know what's happening? To make us satisfied enough. To make us think we know what's going on in our heads. But we truly have nothing. No word really describes you as a person exactly we just think they do because society has morphed us that way. We think we need some sort of remedy to make us feel better because that's what everyone says. Maybe without one we could learn to figure out our own heads, fight our own battles. Until then we are alone. Alone in a world full of people. Alone without a voice in the crowd. Alone without a chance to fight our own battles. Alone.

Perspective

Just a random poem I made recently. Not all that perfect but hey I tried. Also it's fucking long no ones gonna read it lmao. Perspective: a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view. What you see and what i see are two things. What i see in the mirror and how I personally see myself are different than how you see me. What you see in my personality and what i see are different things. I see me as an egotistical sarcastic asshole. I look in the mirror and see all my flaws. My big thighs I let nobody touch in fear of them pointing out what I already know. I see my matted hair and how frizzy it looks. I see how I can never keep my hair just right. I see the bags of tired and irritation under my eyes of confusion and lost hope. I see my eyebrows that look totally different from one another. I see my glasses that always look so dirty no matter what I do. I see my outfit choices and see how big my shirts make me feel and how big my thighs look in my shorts. I see my stomach and all I see is the fat and how dissatisfied I am with my weight. I see myself smile and see how crooked my teeth are. How weird my chin looks. How weird my cheeks look. I see my height and I know I'll never be much taller than I am. I see how ridiculously short I will always be. I hear myself speak and I hear the voice cracks. I hear my laugh and I hear how weird it sounds. I think about my personality and how I act so many different ways. I see the flaws in my personality. But this isn't what everyone says to me. They say you're beautiful. They say they love my eyes. They say my singing is good. They say they love me for who I am. They say I shouldn't worry about myself. That i shouldn't focus on my flaws because I'm perfect. They love my thighs and love teasing my height. They don't mind my hair and it's unnatural color. They don't completely hate my personality and they're glad I'm myself. They see my smile and think it's cute. They find nothing wrong with it. They adore my dimples. They don't mid my freckles. They don't hate me without my glasses. This is the pleasure from living in a different perspective. Note the sarcasm. Sometimes you can change your perspective. See the brighter side. But as of lately I haven't been able to switch my perspective no matter how hard I try. But I'm trying. Trust me. But ones perspective is hard to change.
