She didn’t know why she kept doing it. She didn’t know why she had decided to leave her apartment in the middle of the night to be the other’s savior again despite the fact that they only acknowledged her existence when drowning in alcohol and in need of someone to pick them up and bring them back home. Tyler always seemed to do it reluctantly; however, there was something that kept her from refusing every time the other called, asking for a ride. She had never said no to them. She would never say no to them, and both of them knew it. The other person was clearly taking advantage of it, but the worst part was that Tyler let it happen. Once inside the bar the other had told her they were in, it took her only a few seconds to lay eyes on them. With a heavy sigh escaping her lips, she approached them. “Hey,” she said, languid voice coming out of her mouth. It was clear that she wasn’t happy to be there. “You ready to leave?”
She tossed another tequila shot back, quickly reaching around for the lemon wedge to save her from the residual burn. She smiled, sucking on the wedge for what she could only guess was the seventh or eighth time tonight. Across the room a gorgeous blonde, even a slight point of eye contact drove Ebony wild with desire, her drunkenness heightening her libido. A sinking feeling in Ebony’s stomach when the blonde started making out with the guy next to her, the truth of the matter was Ebony drunk, high and horny and not one of the guy’s who’d been hitting on her could give her what she needed. So, she pulled out her phone and texted old faithful ‘can you come pick me up? pleeeeeease x’. 20 minutes a two more shots later she heard Tyler’s voice, a familiar softness that made Ebony smile. “Babe, you came!” She wrapped her heavy arms around the girl. “Yes, but only because I’m leaving with you.” She whispered, her words slurring oh so slightly.
