#staycation tips
Hi everyone,
I’m back with a new great way to spend your #staycation!
One thing that always helps me defeat my boredom, is to find my creative outlets and start doing something I enjoy (duh). Unless you’ve been living underneath a rock, I guess you must have noticed that podcasts are really hot and happening right now. So, why not make your own? Podcasts are a great and easy way to spend some time talking about the things you love. You can literally find a podcast about anything these days, so why not talk about that one great recipe your Italian grandma used to talk about? Or your dying passion to become a witch? Once you start building an audience, even if it’s just your friends and family, you’ll feel a real sense of togetherness. Also, what better way to just vent about your feelings? Who cares? You don’t even have to upload it. If you do, platforms like Buzzsprout are a great accessible place to start. Just grab your headphones, and start talking!
That’s all for now!
And hey, check out my own podcast!

Het gaat om waar je heen gaat
Niet hoe hard je rent
En dan zie je onderweg ook nog eens wat.
Translation for my non-Dutch followers:
It’s about where you’re going
Not about how fast you run
And you might even see something along the way
@nobeerreviews - thought this was a great quote :)
Food for thought- the places we live, the cities we see every day... Do you ever just wonder what has happened in a building? What its history is?

You weren’t able to go abroad last summer? Same. One of the things I love most about going on holiday is staying in a hotel. Sleeping in a hotel bed, with crisp white bed sheets, waking up to amazing views, eating a delicious breakfast... I could go on and on. But don’t forget you can get this experience near to home! Treat yourself to a relaxing night and book a hotel nearby.
Soon: crazy city podcast!

Even though the temperatures might be dropping, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t find a new park to have an autumn picnic! Grab some blankets, pour yourself a glass of mulled wine (or hot chocolate), and enjoy your staycation!

Union Station in Pittsburgh (AKA Pennsylvania Station, or just Penn Station) was designed by architect Daniel Burnham of the Chicago firm Burnham & Root. The magnificent rotunda offered shelter to carriages picking up and dropping off passengers when the station opened in 1901. Although Union Station is still an active rail station, this entrance is closed to the public and the tower above it was converted to an apartment building called The Pennsylvanian in 1988. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. Photos by Charles Reeza.
