Headcanons of: Dabi — Touya Todoroki. :3
Realistic and very obvious, by the way.
I love Dabi as he is in canon!
Warnings: Strong language, mention of something sexual.
What would Dabi be like if he were in love with you?
· Most importantly, Dabi wouldn't fall in love with a hero, much less a civilian. As a civilian, he wouldn't even notice you exist, and as a hero? He hates them, he hates you. (Although I could make a headcanon out of that...) You have to be in the League, obviously.
And something logical: Dabi doesn't want someone who tries to fix him or save him; he wants someone who understands him and doesn't destroy him more than he already has.
· He wouldn't care about you at first. He'd be very distrustful. If you have a useful Quirk... maybe you'll catch his attention, or maybe you'll be just as much of an idiot as he is. Simply being able to argue with someone like him, or someone with a strong personality, seems fun to him. And then fascinating...
· As I said, Dabi doesn't care about you at first; he just thinks you're useful. But he could tell from your gaze if you're as broken as he is, and that... Even though he'd rather die than admit it, deep down, he'd feel a little sorry for you, just a little.
· In my opinion, Dabi doesn't care about looks; he's not the best-looking person to judge that (but my God... He looks incredible with all those burns; it gives him a certain something).
Dabi would focus more on your personality, how you act, how you think, and how you plan things, and what you plan. Dabi hates useless people; he hated himself for it. Like I said, Dabi could be attracted to anything except your face.
But, if Dabi had a type... I don't know. I feel like he likes people with dark circles under their eyes; in his eyes, that's very attractive. Or messy hair—he'd love to mess it up.
He likes curvy women... I don't know how to prove it. You know. Dogs eat bones, wolves eat meat. Dabi is a wolf.
But like I said, he doesn't care about looks at all! He would love you just the way you are and wouldn't judge you for it.
Something sweet: If you have a healing gift, and you end up helping him with his burns, even though he's told you in a thousand languages ​​that he hates being touched, and you reply, "It bothers you so much that you haven't burned me yet," you'll leave him speechless. Because you were right. It took him almost centuries to accept that he loved you, after dreaming about you out of nowhere the few times he slept, after being frustrated by thinking about you so much, after being a complete idiot towards you, after killing some people because of the stress it caused him. At first, he didn't care about you, then you were a stupid nuisance that distracted him, and finally, you're the love of his life, that's what his heart tells him; in his mind, he thinks about killing you, you know, he's crazy.
And when he finally accepted what tormented him all the time, he changed. He was still the same. But he showed more concern for you, or he was even more of an idiot than usual. The king of sarcasm. According to him, he hid it very well. But then Toga came along and said, "You're showing favoritism, Dabi! You love her a lot, don't you?" He almost killed her, almost. From then on, he plays hard to get, but when he suddenly protects you in fights against heroes, it's too obvious.
• He always says, "Come and help me, that's all you're good for." The translation of that is: "I want your attention, I want you to look at me with your pretty eyes."
Dabi always has that sour look on his face whenever he's closer to you than usual. Once you asked him what the hell was wrong, and he said it was none of your business. Although, clearly, inside, he desperately needed you to kiss him.
• He's a jealous bastard. He was jealous of his own brother, who tried to kill him. My God. And he swears he's not jealous... He'd be jealous of an animal, even. If someone flirted with you, he'd give them the cold shoulder. The most murderous way possible, how the hell is another guy going to be taking away his favorite person? No. Then, you never saw that guy again, it's so obvious and I don't have to explain it.
And besides, he's afraid you'll replace him or discard him. Please. This guy needs a lot of love and attention, don't hurt him, I beg you.
He's kind of toxic. He manipulates you into spending more time with him by making up pointless excuses. But he'd like you to manipulate him too, he's quite masochistic, actually. And he's very obsessed, he can't be at peace if he doesn't see you near him, for protection, and because he's crazy about you even though he denies it a thousand times.
He's a stalker, by the way, Joe Goldberg in an anime (he's from the series You, look it up!). He follows you everywhere, the worst part is that he's so quiet you don't even notice... Unless you smell ashes. If you ever catch him, he'll just say, "Shigaraki told me to." No, idiot, you told yourself to. Damn sexy lunatic.
• He sees you breathe, and out of nowhere, he makes the most unnecessary and stupid comment in the world. Why? Getting under your skin is his favorite pastime. But... if you play along... it's even better; you'll argue endlessly. All the damn time. They seem like they want to kill each other all the time, even though they really want to make out.
Poor Tomura wanted to rip his ears off every time he heard them, "Shut up, idiots, I'm going to disintegrate you."...
• Dabi is very overprotective; after all, you're the only thing that makes sense in the world to him. You even make more sense than killing Endeavor.
He'll kill anyone who lays a finger on you; he's truly terrified of losing you. He needs you too much, more than the air he breathes.
But he's still an imbecile, "Dabi, why did you do that?" "Because I felt like it. And you're more useful alive." It's awful. Also awfully beautiful.
The peace he feels by your side is otherworldly. He feels so alive. He feels his life isn't a misery. He still doesn't understand what he did to meet you, but he's happy about it.
Something sad: He believes he doesn't deserve you. Whether you're like him or not, he'll always believe he doesn't deserve your attention. He's not used to anything romantic. He's distanced himself from you countless times because he thinks he could hurt you. Or drag you into his hell, much less if he knows you've been through one.
He might love you very much, but he'll never tell you, never. He'll always show it with incredibly tender actions! If he started spying on you, it was also to find out what you liked. He saw you eating something, very happy—surprise! Out of nowhere, you found THAT where you live. You have to be very patient, honey. Or if you're like him, it will be a constant battle of egos. But you can't help it; you're each other's addiction.
• He stares at you all the damn time. He lives for you and for looking at you. Long, drawn-out stares; if you look back, he'll look away as his cheeks burn. Your gaze drives him crazy. If you smile because you think it's funny, he'll feel dizzy with nerves.
And he doesn't just look at you because he really likes you. There are also some lewd looks. His mind betrays him, and he imagines the most disgusting things in the world with you... and he actually wants to try them.
If you have curves, it'll be a little difficult for him not to look at you... He wants to touch you, but his shyness holds him back. He's secretly very shy! Like an emo Tamaki. Dabi doesn't know any pet names or terms of endearment. He'll always call you by your name. He insults you... It's his love language. And well, let him touch you, and if he touches you, it's because you let him. He won't do anything without your consent. Yes, he's a killer, not a monster.
He loves it when you cup his cheeks! Or trace his scars. But he always acts tough. He's a little insecure, even though it might not seem like it. He thought you'd never listen to him because of it.
He also likes it when you hit him... jokingly or not. He loves it. It excites him. He's very masochistic. I already said that.
He bothers you a lot more... He's more demonstrative. Simply put... He trusts you too much. He only trusts you.
Something funny: Sometimes he's super serious, and other times he carries you like a sack of potatoes and laughs like crazy. Do it too. Go crazy with him!
Many will think that Dabi is bad at comforting, and well, he is. But not that bad. If you have some trauma, for example, someone hurt you? "Where are they now? I'm going to give them what they deserve."
Do you feel inadequate? He felt that way too and he'll understand you better than anyone. "No. To me, you're worth more than you think." That came out of nowhere, even he didn't realize it. He told you to "forget it," but it was so sweet to see him embarrassed. He doesn't know how to show affection because he's more about actions.
And you, please. Comfort him too. Pay attention to him. That's what he wanted most when he was young... After all, Dabi remained the Touya who needed attention and love.

· Dabi isn't going to hit you. I hate people who say he would. I always hate his father. If he ever did anything to you, he'd hate himself for the rest of his life. He wouldn't be an abuser, accept it, honey.
· Regarding arguments... He just disappears. And then everything goes back to normal. It's impossible for him to apologize. Maybe he did once, but you didn't even hear him.
Something spicy: Dabi would like to resolve fights with sex... (I'll make a headcanon about that later, hehe)
Or he simply appears, with a shitty face. He kisses you and hugs you, in his own way, you know, he's a total jerk and it bothers him to need you all the time.
· He definitely included you in his hate speech towards Endeavor. He likes to show off.

And lastly, it would be stupid to try and stop him from getting revenge. He wouldn't listen to you, no matter how much he loves you. If you love him, dance in hell with him. Hehe.
Something sad: Maybe he did consider giving up his revenge and having a life with you...
