I documented a light on my artwork. It captured how the light can change or remove color from the artwork.

I placed a stobe light in my fridge and documented the light and how it interacted with the fridge.

I placed a strobe light in my microwave (that I forgot to clean sorry!) and documented how the light bounced around the microwave. My camera documented it oddly.

I placed a red strobe light in my dishwasher and emptied it.

For my third idea I would place strobe lights in the fridge and I would tape the lever that turns the fridge light on so it would be off. I would just record the fridge as the strobe light is going off. I would play with the idea of taking objects out of the fridge in the video as well.

My second idea would be a preformative piece. I would record I would place empty glass vessels on a table and record how the light interfaces with the glass as I fill the glasses with water.

My first idea is documenting how shadow and light interact with each other. I made an example of the documentation process and how I would receive an image of my shadow. I wouldn’t include my body just my bodies shadow.

Olafur Eliasson - Abstract: The Art of Design

“Its about the angle of the eye, the drop, and the light. And if there is no eye, then that angle it not there and there is no rainbow. Phantom Bodies

Materials: Plaster Cast, Embroidery Floss, Shoes This is the outcome of me experimenting with different elements and compositions. I placed the cast of my foot in my shoes. I took broken pieces of my other casts and used it as a heel for the foot but also placed them on top of the foot. I placed sting randomly on some pieces. This was intended to be playful.

Materials: Plaster Cast, Embroidery Floss I took a plaster cast of my hand and broke the fingers. I proceeded to connect red and blue string to the broken ends to create a puppet-like hand. This is a play on connection of the veins. I also took images with different lighting to give it an eerie feeling.

Materials: Plaster Cast, Push Pins I took a cast of my hand and foot and broke the fingers from the hand. I had mixed incorrect portions of the plaster and the cast never set properly. That gave me the opportunity to insert the push pins into the cast. I decided to put the pins in areas where the fingers would connect to the hand like bones. I also took other images of the push pins scattered around.
