“What the...“ Adelaide turned with a surprised look as she was pulled back from entering the safe house by her arm.

Drina went very quiet for a moment, her gaze drifting out of the window, “Yes, I suppose I would,”

Adelaide laughed softly and rolled her eyes but she couldn’t stop a smile from forming as she thought of Monty. “We need to get you a boy toy, Drina.”

“I’m sure no one would mind if you did.“ She smiled wider. “I know that look. Monty and I, are nothing special or out of one of your stories. We’re just two people who happened to find each other.“

“Wouldn’t you if your father denied your love?“

“Where would you go? Vincent would kill you if they found out where he’s living? And a hotel is out of the question. You’ll be asking for them to slit your throat in your sleep.“
