Okay the reason it is taking me a millennia to post is because I made things harder for myself and am now trying to summarize three different intersecting plot lines at once. Laugh out loud.

This started as me just wanting to flesh out Talon and Shadow’s backstory. But as it turned out, they ran into Drina during the war, who has her own subplot hunting talismans with Devin to keep them out of Kirsi’s hands.

And then, when the war ended and chaos ensued, Talon, Shadow and their (girl)friend Swift attempted to track down Shadow’s brother, Alix (aka Stead). But he’s now got his own mini plot line with Shane, Anya and the first few Redcloaks from before they caught up to him.

Anyway. It’s a lot.

There's some good stuff in here though. GOOD STUFF. A deep dive into the inner workings of the Conquerors. A secret society of spies amidst the Greencloaks, in Greenhaven. My own spin on the plot of the Spirit Animals game. Big focus on the game characters (Keith, Kirsi, Drina). The genuine friendship that develops between Devin and Drina as her death approaches. The romantic undertones of her rivalry with Kirsi. The unofficial polycule of Shadow, Swift and Talon. More talismans covered! Shane's brief and confusing fling with Anya??? And the amount of sapphic romance across these interlocking subplots. I'm having a blast.
