The SEC just moved on crypto regulation. Here's what it means for your business.
This month the SEC put three crypto rules on its 2026 agenda — covering digital asset offerings, broker-dealer custody, and trading venues. The Clarity Act, meanwhile, is still stuck in the Senate.
Bottom line: clarity is coming, but it's not here yet and a proposed rule is still a year or more from final. Until then, business disputes don't pause: frozen payment accounts, token disagreements, platform freezes, and breach-of-contract claims still need real litigation strategy, not a wait-and-see approach.
Sharp Law APC works with crypto, e-commerce, and tech businesses across Orange County and Southern California who need a lawyer already fluent in the technology — not one learning it on the client's dime.
