speaking of the comic, I'm very very happy still with part 17 where I finally got to draw those parallels between Jack and the Angel that have been making me go insane since forever.
They both wanted to make Isaac happy, both were unable to truly help or make significant changes to improve Isaac's life, and both doomed to helplessly watch him get worse and worse.
I've always really loved the themes about the cycle of abuse in LJs origin story, and it's sort of fascinating how Isaac clearly mirrors his father, but LJ mirrors the Angel. And of course, LJ and Isaac mirror each other.

probably more proxies to come eventually but š¤·āāļø its basically just ur typical slendermansion au thing but just with redesigns and some personality changes
basic premise is that all of the proxies (and other general creepypastas) live in this ever-expanding forest that has a supernatural fog always covering itā¦.anddd has strange abilities!! like bringing inanimate objects to life. next to this anomalous forest is a town (with a name I havenāt figured out yet) where most of the human proxies came from, like Jeff and Toby.
Slendermanās manor consists of most of the more popular proxies (aka the ones drawn here) while others (hoodie and masky, for example) live in their own separate cabin somewhere in or outside of the fogā or just live in the forest aimlessly (the rake, smile dog, ect).

JEFFERY WOODS: regular ol Jeffery Woods..,.he had a Feeling (tm) and now lives with Slenderman as his sort of adopted son. one of the first few proxies to be chosen, and is very close with slender (even if he doesnāt want to admit it). just a greasy, slimy guy.
THE OBSERVER: though he has no eyes, is very observant, and surprisingly cautious and responsible. even he doesnāt have full control of everything. overworked father figure and he constantly has migraines. #dadoftheyear (also heās divorcedā¦to zalgo)
EYELESS JACK: More of a creature rather than a guy, eyeless is a loyal proxy who really sticks around because of the free food and rooms. heās close with LJ, even though the clown makes him want to shake him around like a rag doll
BEN DROWNED: little shit who invades everyoneās technology all throughout the manor. heās very specific about his things and doesnāt liked them being touched. think lemongrab from adventure time and jeff from clarence.
JANE DOE (or Jane the killer, my own take): think Nina if she was the complete opposite of a fan girl. instead of loving Jeff, she thinks heās a total loser and believes she can do his job better. sheās quiet and likes her personal space/alone time. probably has a collection of different weapons but I thought a hatchet would be cool. also yes sheās black here what about it
NINA THE KILLER: heard about jeffās crimes in a news article and became obsessed with him. she became a copycat killer, found the fog, and stayed there ever sinceā¦as her life before wasnāt too eventful anyway. sheās chipper and quite positive, even if it makes her come off as naive.
LJ: an imaginary friend who was inspired by a real sock monkey by a childā¦but as that child grew up, they lost interest in such a thing and threw it away to a thrift store. LJ jumped from various homes before finally being abandoned in the fog. heās extremely clingy and honestly a little absentminded, but he WILL make you laugh if itās the last thing heāll do. I love you LJ (his name isnāt actually laughing jackā¦..but he will never tell what the initials actually mean. I donāt think he remembers). also heās kind of in love with eyeless
SALLY WILLIAMS: after her death, sallyās body was hidden in this foggy forest, her ghost latching onto the first sign of life (the manor). sheās still a very cheerful girl who loves to hoard dolls and plushies as a result. she hangs out predominantly with Jane and Nina, and LJ in the occasion because of his doll collection. Slender is basically her dad.
Itās so edgy and cringe, but the design is so good and it was the first creepypasta I heard that actually made me feel scared, at least a little bit if I remember correctly. Hope you all like it, this was also an Art Trade for someone on my Instagram. :D
I know Iāve been so busy to do your petitions or respond to your questions, but I will close my trades soon and come back to Tumblr. I miss my Smiling Critters babies, and I also got pretty obsessed with Pierrot so donāt be surprised if I start to do some content of it too. Xd
