Worth it

You made my time that day worth it. You Made me realize that I am a woman who deserves more than you ever were able to give me.my ego was cut with the sharpest knife as you deliberately chose to answer every question with the truth. The truth that set my soul free at last.. I was hurt, I'll be honest. But god always does things for a reason and this time it was to make me feel.. to feel hurt and stung just a little by your hurtful tongue. Every name, every "she" "her" and "I'm sorry" was just the barrier of what really burned my skin. Now it was no ordinary 'the pan is hot' burn.. it was a real burn... the kind that changed every ounce of my life, my decisions, my security, my idea what love was. Sometimes looking in the mirror, I don't even know who that girl is. But this day you made me see... that you truly weren't for me. No, you weren't my twin flame and that everything was my choices to blame. You HURT me. They say time is supposed to heal but I can't do anything but feel anger for you. And god have mercy on your soul, because you are the bad guy. The bad guy who made me think that young love was supposed to feel that way, that I had to compete with every encounter you had with her prior... now I know why I hated the way I looked everyday, why I never felt like the queen that I am today.. because of you.
